Chapter Eleven

Girlfriend. I knew it. I knew it was too good to be true. Of course he has a girlfriend.
"Oh wow. Hi. You're way prettier than I expected you to be."
She smiled at me. "You are too. Are those your real eyes?"
"They are indeed." I almost asked if those were her real boobs. But I didn't. I had to play nice.
"They're gorgeous. Your hair really brings them out."
"Thanks. I don't mean to cut this short, but I gotta go. I'll talk to you later?" Jarvia who was sitting beside Ben, looked at me. I gave her a 'not now' look and walked outside. I went to BVB's bus and sat down with Ashley at the table.
"You look bummed little lion." I half smiled at the old nickname.
"What do you do, if someone you really like has a girlfriend?"
"I take it you met Alica then?"
"You knew?"
"Not until last night. He text Andy to let him know she was here."
"A heads up would have been nice." I put my head on the table. "This sucks so bad Purdy."
"I know little lion. It'll be okay. There's always me." I looked up at him and he winked.
I couldn't help but laugh. "PurdyPorn giving up his lifestyle? Not a chance. Nice try though."
He chuckled and ruffled my hair. "Cheer up. Did you see Zack yet?"
"From Avenged? Yeah. Actually I think I might go hang out with them. Talk to you later PurdyPorn."
"Nice ass little lion." I shook my head and walked off the bus. I wondered around for about 10 minutes until I found their bus. I knocked and stepped back, waiting for someone to come out.
"They aren't there." I turned around to see someone I didn't know.
"What?"
"They left about five minutes ago to go do their sound check. You're from 'This Too Shall Pass' right?"
"Uh yeah. Sorry I don't know you."
He laughed, "I'm Robert. I'm the lead singer for 'Till Death Do We Part'. We're the unmarked bus."
"Oh!!!!!! Hi! We were wondering who was in there."
"Yeah. We're an upcoming band. Kinda small. Just me and my brother Jeremy. He's the keyboardist."
"Oh. Cool. I'll have to be sure I listen to you guys."
"Thanks. But I just came to tell you that they weren't there. Bye."
"Uh, bye." He waved and left. Well that was weird. And this sucks. I walked to the Fall Out Boy bus and yelled, "PETE! FAIR PETE! LET DOWN YOUR HAIR!"
"I SHAN'T FAIR LADY! FOR TIS NOT FAIR!" I heard him shout back from inside the bus.
"HOW WOULDST THOU LIKE TO JOIN ME THIS FINE DAY!"
"I WOULD BE HONORED MAIDEN! I SHALL JOIN YOU IN A MOMENT!" I laughed and just waved at the people that gathered to stare at us. A moment later, Pete walked out and tossed me his hoodie.
"Here."
"What is this?"
"Well. It's a hoodie."
"I can see that. Why do I have it?"
"I got a new one. And I thought you'd always wanted it."
"I do. Thank you."
"Anytime. Now, what are we doing?"
"Coffee? Little place up the road. It's pretty great." He shrugged and we headed that way. When we got there, we found Ben and Jarvia and Danny and Alcia all there at a table. I grimaced and we headed towards a table that wasn't too far from their table but it wasn't close either. The waitress took our orders and then we were alone.
"You like him, huh?"
"Like who?"
"Danny or whatever his name is."
"Yeah. But see that girl with him. That's his girlfriend. Of three months apparently."
"Wow. He's an ass."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean it's obvious he led you on. Look at you."
I shrugged, "it is, what it is. Can't change anything."
"Yeah."
I looked out the corner of my eye towards their table and found Danny staring at me. He didn't look exactly thrilled either. I looked back towards Pete.
"You are so oblivious."
"To what?"
"Everything."
"Thanks Pete. Love ya too."
I heard something break and I looked over towards their table. On the ground was one of the saucers that someones coffee came on. I looked at Danny, who had a piece of glass in his palm. What the hell?
