Chapter Twenty-Three

"So the Quinn special is something you came up with?"

"Yes. It's a pasta dish."

"Of course." I poked Danny. Pasta is one of my favorite things in the entire world.

"It's got Alfredo sauce. And it's beef spiced in a secret family recipe. It's served with a garlic flavored soda bread."

"What's soda bread?"

"It's like a crumpet."

"Exactly."

"It's really delicious. Jarvia got it last time and she loved it."

"What's Champ?" George looked at me weird.

"Mashed potatoes and scalions."

"Is your Colcannon any good?" James looked up at me.

"I think so. And it's one of the best selling things here so." Annon had returned with drinks and he answered for me.

"I think we're ready." I looked down the table and they all nodded.

"Let's do it then." Everyone went down and ordered. George, Alex, Jase, and Sam all got Champ, being the picky eaters they are. James got Calcannon. Cameron got Battered Sausage. Danny, Ben and I all got the Quinn Special. The girls ordered various salads. Typical.

"Salads?"

"Yes. We like to watch our figure unlike some people." They looked this way towards me, though Liz was the one who spoke

"Hey. My figure is just fine." I wasn't a twig like them, but I wasn't huge either. I weighed a good 164.

They rolled their eyes and the boys glared. The Levies were way too appearance based for me. Annon came back and sat and talked with us.

"So, you're all together in some form or another?"

"No. George and Liz are single. The rest of us are dating."

"I see. Jarvia how are you?"

"I'm great." They had hung out the last time we were here and ended up being great friends.

"How is Sharon?"

"She's great. We had a scare the other day with Zachariah, but it's all good."

"He's what, two now?"

"Three next month."

"I feel old." He just laughed and shook his head.

"So, you guys are Asking Alexandria?"

"Yeah." Those five turned their heads towards Annon.

"Where are you from? That's not an American accent I pick up."

"We're from North Yorkshire."

"Oh? Where exactly?"

"York."

"I hear it now that you've clarified. And you and Jenn are together?"

Danny nodded. "Four months on the 31st."

"Jenn always said she's end up with a British boy." I blushed.

"Thanks for that Annon."

"Anytime. Hey your stuff is ready, let me go get Annesto and Jain to help bring it out." He got up and left.

"A British boy huh?" Danny had an amused look on his face.

"It was something when I was little." He laughed and kissed my hair. Just then our food was brought to the table. Each meal was passed out and then they left with an 'enjoy'. I waited till everyone had taken a bite before I took a bite of mine.
