THIS IS THE SONG THAT NEVER ENDS'

"Hello?"

"Uhh. Jenn?"

"What's up Ben?"

"We're on the way to the hospital. Jarvia's water just broke- JUST TELL HER TO GET HER FUCKING ASS TO THE HOSPITAL!- did you get that?"

"I'm only way." The line went dead and I got up

"Jenn what are you doing?"

"Jarvias water broke."

"Oh shit." He got up too. We dressed quickly and headed towards the hospital. We walked in the lobby to find Ben and Jarvia still there.

"I AM HAVING A FUCKING BABY! GET ME BACK THERE!"

"Ma'am I need you to calm down. Someone is on their way to get you."

"NO! THEY NEED TO COME NOW!"

"Jarvia! Calm down."

"JENNIFER!!! IM HAVING A BABY! I WILL NOT CALM DOWN!"

I walked over and thumped her in the forehead.

"CALM THE FUCK DOWN." She looked at me like I was crazy.

"You've taken classes for this. You've read books for this. Now you're here. Calm. Down."

"Miss they'll take you back now." Two medics came and took her to the elevator. We followed and went up.

"Which of you two are going with her to deliver?"

"Jennifer and I."The medic nodded. "You two need to scrub up then follow us into the delivery room." We nodded and the elevator dinged. We followed one of the medics to get scrubbed in. Ben was freaking out the entire time.

"Oh shit. What if he's not heathly? What if he has a disease? What if his organs aren't in the right place. Fuck. What if-" I smacked him in the cheek.

"Get your shit together man! Your wife is in there! You are about to see your son! She's already freaking out! You have to be strong."

"Strong. You're right. Okay. I can do this. I'm Ben Bruce."

"Who are you?"

"Ben Bruce."

"I'm sorry I can't hear you. Who are you?"

"I AM BENJAMIN PAUL BRUCE."

"Finally. Now let's go." We followed the medic to the delivery room. Jarvia was already there with her feet in the stirups.

"We need both of you to hold her legs back. Sir if you'll get one and Miss if you'll get the other." We both went on the opposite side of each other.

"Okay, Mrs. Bruce. You're crowning. On the count of five I want you to push. Remember your breathing now. Okay? Ready? 1,2,3,4,5 push." She did so. This went on five more times before I heard it. A cry pierced the air and Jarvia leaned her head back. I looked between them and then Ben's hand. He had been holding her leg back with one hand and she was squeezing the life out of his other hand.

"Congratulations you two, it's a healthy baby boy. 21 centimeters 7 pounds 12 ounces. Would you like to hold him?" Jarvia held out her hands and the cutest baby boy I have ever seen was placed into them. On his head was a little bit of firey red hair, like his mother all the way. The face was the spitting image of Ben in his baby pictures that Jarvia had shown me.

"Mrs. We need to take him to the nursery to get him registered and everything. You'll get him back within the hour." Jarvia reluctantly handed over her son and a nurse took him.

"We need you two to step out and go get cleaned up." We left and changed back into our other clothes. I stopped by the waiting room and got Danny.

"Well?"

"Healthy boy. 7lbs 12 oz."

"We're next you know." I laughed and kissed him.

"You'll get your daughter. Be patient. 3 months love. I want to wait a year before we try having any children."

"So long, but for you I can deal."

"Good. Now come on. Let's go see them." We walked towards Jarvias room. In there was the ever happy family. Ben was laying in the bed with Jarvia and Zander was laying on his chest sleeping ever so contently.

"Oh my god. Ben he's beautiful."

"Jenn. You've turned my best friend gay."

"He's beautiful Ben. Accept the compliment you wanker."

"Thanks Danny."

"You two go get some sleep. We'll be here tomorrow."

"Yes ma'am. See you tomorrow Jarvia. He's cute."

"That he is." We left and headed home. It was 1:34 in the morning by the time we got home. I went straight to bed not even bothering to change. I felt Danny climb in beside me and I fell straight to sleep.
