"Is it that great?"

I asked in disbelief.

Sure, I had found it marveling as well when I first came. But it was years ago, so I don't have much memories of it.

I also thought that since they're pirates, they would've seen many eye-catching monuments and phenomena.

Almost all the pirates I've met have filled my head with their stories of adventure.

The sea beasts, the notorious criminals, the marines, the beautiful blue sea, the winds, and so on.

Their smiles would widen as they told these to me, and I wouldn't be able to hold in my amazement. Always.

"Of course it is! I've never seen such a...castle? House? Mansion?", the boy with the strawhat said.

I'm not surprised by his amazement. He seemed to be bewildered by everything, like a toddler.

The one who surprised me the most was him. The marijuana-head.

"It does look astonishing, considering this island isn't on the maps, apparently"

What does he mean by 'apparently'? Did he not believe me? I'm the one who's supposed to be suspicious of their every move.

"I wonder what would happen if there was a big earthquake"

That long-nose just can't stop thinking negatively, can he?

Well, who am I to talk?

"It makes this island seem rich. And considering the herbs and fruits, they must have unique ingredients not known to outsiders", the blond creep said.

He looked quite the gentleman, but now he just seems like a down bad rapist.

"It looks so expensive! Do billionaires live there?", the ginger said.

I have to agree with the weed-head's rude remark: she does sound creepy when she tries sounding sweet.

"What is it, though? A mansion? Do you have royals here? Monarchs?", the blue-haired one asked.

She seems the most normal.

"It reminds me of Wapol's castle", the cutest one said.

They sure do have different mindsets. Maybe they're one of those crews who team only for personal benefits. Definitely.

The castle-mansion-Wapol's castle-house-thing they are speaking of is not as it seems.

"It's a school", I stated in a matter-of-fact way, although I can't blame them for mistaking it as several other things.

"A SCHOOL?!", everyone yelled in surprise, apart from marijuana-head.

"It doesn't look like a school", the man stated.

I can't blame him for what he just said.

Our school looks like anything but a school.

It's built mostly of red concrete, with a huge grass lawn spread around it. It's protected with tall grey walls and a large steel gate at the front-centre. There are actual fortified towers at all four sides of the school, but they're barely put to their actual use as we rarely got attacked these past few months. When you look from the outside, there aren't any corridors with railings you normally see in schools. There are just normal balconies with regular railings.
