"What's the point of school?"

"See", I explained to the hatted-boy for what seemed like the thousandth time, "one needs education to prosper, or at the very least live a settled life with a roof above one's head and food on the table. You acquire knowledge about the most basic things, ranging to a variety of advanced information. Education is, if I'm not wrong, the most common requirement to success"

"Well, I ain't got much schooling, education or whatever, but I have a home, family and tasty food to eat. Anyways, who would want a roof on top of their head? Isn't that painful?"

He clearly didn't listen to half my reasoning, let alone comprehend its meaning.

"Y/N's right, Luffy. Education is important. Look at me, I haven't got much muscles, but I've survived 'till now because of my brain", Nami agreed with me.

"But I thought Zoro was the one who's got muscles for brains? You said that yourself!"

"Is that just a clever way to insult me, or what?", the mentioned marijuana-head accused, offended.

The three started to bicker about the importance of education; Nami actually staying on topic, Luffy debating about how he didn't have to know his ABC's to eat food, and Zoro talking about how being educated doesn't give anyone the right to insult someone's hair colour or physique.

So, yeah. It was a pretty reasonable argument.

"Don't let those two do your head in, Y/N-chan", Sanji said, leaving Nami as a saint caught between two troublesome sinners, "they always bicker about the most foolish and useless topics. It hurts to see that my lovely Nami-san gets lured into their tomfoolery without her consent"

"No offense, but, I'm surprised you're not a part of that right now", Ussop pointed towards the three arguing Strawhats.

Sanji was clearly offended, and it was also clear that he didn't bother to hide it. He expressed his feelings by having his foot meet Ussop's head.

"I can't wait for breakfast", said Chopper, the sole reason being that he was excited to go to the library and check out the medical stuff.

"For real! Why are they taking so long?!", moaned Luffy, having been distracted from their bickering. The other two immediately stopped as well, not finding much reason to argue any further about human rights and over-smart scholars.

"We ordered three minutes ago. What do you think the chefs are, supersonics?", Nami asked in disbelief.

"Isn't that a requirement? Sanji can do it, so why can't they?"

"Not everyone is as skilled as Sanji. It'd be unfair to judge ordinary cooks, don't you think?"

"Oh my Go-", flushed Sanji, then proceeded to pass out on the spot with his head banging against the table.
