Abhimanyu entered the room and was greeted by a familiar sight.

Aarohi, was sitting at the study table with Ruhi, who seemed to be struggling with her math homework.

he couldn't help but smile at the scene before him. It was a routine he witnessed almost daily, but it never failed to warm his heart.

Aarohi - Ruhi, it's not 64, it's 60. Erase it and try again.

she said softly.

Ruhi nodded in understanding, a slight pout on her face.

abhi - Princess.

ruhi - Poppy.

Ruhi replied, a bright smile lighting up her face as she reached out to him.

Abhimanyu scooped her up in his arms, showering her with affection.

aarohi - Utaaro usse neeche.

Abhimanyu noticed a hint of frustration in Aarohi's voice and furrowed his brows in concern.

abhi - Kya hua, Aarohi? Itne gusse mein kyun ho?"

he asked, genuinely curious.

Aarohi let out a sigh and shook her head, her eyes filled with a mix of exhaustion and disappointment.

aarohi - Yeh tum mujhse nahi, apni princess se pucho. Padhai mein bilkul dhyan nahi hai.

she explained, her tone tinged with worry.

ruhi - Sorry, Matashree.

abhi - It's okay, princess. Accha, yeh jaldi khatam karo. Phir hum aap jahan bologe, wahan chalenge.

she smiled.

ruhi - Promise?

abhi - My princess, promise.

he replied with a smile, earning a giggle from Ruhi.

aarohi - Ho gaya dono ka. Ab utaro usse neeche aur tum jao.

abhi - Kyun?

aarohi - Kyun ki tum yahan honge to woh sab karegi, sirf padhai ke alawa.

abhi - Fine, do it fast, princess,"

he said, reluctantly putting Ruhi down and giving her a quick kiss on the forehead before leaving the room.

Aarohi stood in front of her bedroom mirror, brushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear as she adjusted her earrings. The soft glow of the vanity lights illuminated her face as she applied a final touch of lip gloss. They were going for a movie of ruhi's favourite cartoon character.

As she turned to leave the room, two strong arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her close, she smiled.

abhi - Kya hua, bohot thaki hui lag rahi ho?

she chuckled, leaning back slightly into his embrace.

aarohi - Seriously, yeh koi puchne ki baat hai? Tumhari beti ke saath meri itni exercise ho jaati hai ki mujhe alag se exercise karne ki zarurat nahi padti.

he chuckled in response, pressing a gentle kiss to her temple.

It's fine. Mujhe ek zaruri call attend karna tha warna main tumhari help kar deta. Anyways, ab relax ho jao.

she nodded, turning in his arms to face him.

aarohi - Dr. Birla, aapne movie ke liye haan toh kar di, par kya 2 ghante baithenge aap theatre mein, bore ho jayenge?

Abhi - It's okay. Apni princess ke liye main bore hone ke liye bhi ready hoon.

aarohi - Kabhi itna pyar princess ki mumma ko bhi dikha do.

he smirked.

Abhi - Okay, wapas aane ke baad raat ko princess ki mumma ko pyar ka matlab samjhayenge.

Aarohi blushed, swatting him playfully on the chest before stepping back to complete her outfit.

----------------------------------

Finally inside the theatre, they settled into their seats, Ruhi bouncing in her chair with unrestrained joy.

The lights dimmed, and the screen came to life, casting a mesmerizing glow across the room. Ruhi's face lit up as her favorite cartoon character appeared on the screen, larger than life. Her delighted giggles filled the theatre, drawing smiles from those around them.

Abhimanyu and Aarohi glanced at each other, sharing a knowing look. While the movie was undoubtedly entertaining for Ruhi, they found themselves struggling to stay engaged. The colorful animation and catchy songs seemed to blur into a never-ending stream of noise and movement for them. However, each time they stole a glance at Ruhi, her eyes wide with wonder and delight, their own weariness seemed to fade away.

As the movie progressed, Ruhi's excitement only seemed to grow. She clutched her popcorn tightly in one hand, her eyes never leaving the screen. Abhimanyu and Aarohi exchanged amused glances, marveling at the boundless energy and enthusiasm of their daughter. Despite their own growing restlessness, they couldn't help but be swept up in Ruhi's contagious enthusiasm.

Finally, the movie came to an end, and Ruhi squealed in pure joy. Her laughter echoed through the theatre, drawing the attention of those around them. Abhimanyu and Aarohi couldn't help but smile as they watched their daughter's face light up with happiness. In that moment, all their earlier boredom and fatigue melted away, replaced by a sense of contentment and fulfillment.

Ruhi turned to them, her eyes sparkling with gratitude and love.

ruhi - Thank you, matashree poppy for bringing me to see my favorite movie. I had the best time ever!

Her words melted their hearts, reaffirming that the exhaustion of sitting through a seemingly endless cartoon movie was well worth it for the sheer joy it brought their daughter.
