4. Her growing guilt

Next morning

Haseena came downstairs to find nobody except antara and Nishant. They stood and greeted her.

"Jai hind madam!" They said in unison.

"Jai hind! Aur sab Kahan Hain?" She asked.

"Mam Anubhav Sir aur ved sir andar hain aur shaurya sir aur suhani aaye nahi hain ab tak!" Antara said.

"Acha"

" Waise madam aapne breakfast kar liya?" Antara asked.

" Nahi inti subah time nahi milaa" she said.

" Wohi toh madam, Maine bhi kuch nahi khaya" antara said sadly making haseena smile. She slightly patted her back.

" Huh jhooti, madam mein jab yahan aaya tha toh khane ka full stock tha mere paas aur ye sab kha gayi aur Aaj subah bhi aayi thi, aadhe se zyada snacks kha gayi aur abhi bol rahi hai kuch nahi khaayi...ouch!" He winched as antara slapped his arm. Haseena chuckled seeing there banter.

" Aap dono ek dusre ko pehle se jante hain kya?" She asked noticing how well both of them bonded.

" Ji madam wo ye mera college time se hi jigri hai!" Antara said smiling.

" Oh" she replied. Shaurya and suhani also came and greeted Haseena. After sometime Anubhav and ved arrived.

" Jai hind sir!" All greeted in unison. Anubhav Didn't react and ved just nodded smiling.

"Hum sab alag alag lokhandwala jayenge  aur alag time par wahan pahunchenge. Hotel mein bhi hum sab alag rahenge. Nishant aur antara aap dono ek young couple bankar wahan jayenge aur Aisa batayenge ki aapki family aapki shaadi ke khilaaf hain kyunki ladki alag dharm ki hai aur abhi aap chahte hain ki wo aapki madad karein. Aur Shaurya aur suhani aap dono ek married couple bankar wahan jayenge. Suhani Shah aapko Aisa dikhana hai ki aapke husband ko nashe ki aadat lag gayi hai...suna hai wo drug dealing bhi karta hai agar Aisa hua toh wo shaurya se milna toh zarur chahega.
Aur antara aur suhani aap dono satark rehna wo kuch bhi kar sakta hai." Anubhav said

" Ved tum humare saath chalo aur Ms Mallik aap dusre gaadi mein aaiye!" He said and went towards the respective cars. Three cars got occupied with Anubhav and ved in one, shaurya and suhani in one, haseena alone in one. Antara and Nishant travelled by bullet as it was more convincing for a young and unmarried couple.

Haseena was sitting in her car scrolling through her phone. She opened the hidden album. His photos glistened in her eyes. She opened this album quite often.
It also had cute and cozy pictures of them before the engagement drama. Her eyes teared up rememberimg those days.

~ Flashback ~

Haseena was in her room not being able to sleep. She opened her hidden photos and an enchanting smile ornamented her face as she gazed at him. Some of the photos she took is from his home where photoframes of his younger self was there. Some of them were screenshots from his social media. Though now he was not in any social media but when he was younger he had those like all college students do. Haseena knew that she doesn't need to take their screenshots and keep them cause they will be there on the accounts but still her innocent and overthinker heart thought the worst possible and stored them in her gallery forever and after in the same way how he was in her heart.

She chuckled at her own thoughts when a message popped in her phone for 'him' bringing an glowing smile to face like a teenage girl who's crush was now her boyfriend.

"Soyi nahi abhi tak?"

"Aap bhi toh nahi soye."
