a/n:
hey hey
currently, im on winter break and im actually away from home rn, so i might not be able to update as much as usual, and i might not be able to get a connection and stuff
also - fun fact : it takes me about two hours to two days to actually write a chapter bc i have an idea in my head and if it doesn't come out right, i rewrite it a lot, so maybe that's also why i suck at updating
also also - i am changing Calvin's name in the story to Adam, bc that's his real name and it doesn't make sense for taylor to call him his fake name.. :)
also also also - thanks for the amazing comments and votes, ily guys a lot and i wanna start doing this thing where if you comment the most, of the funniest comments, i'll dedicate the chapter to you? (how do you guys feel about that?)
last also - i have the next chapter already started, so you guys should vote and comment on this chapter to get the next one earlier
long author's note sorry you didn't have to read that but yeah
love love

[Taylor's POV]
The shock washed over me and I almost stumbled over.
"Hey, I'm Kendall," the beautiful girl extended a perfectly manicured hand towards me and smiled.
The way she leaned against the door-frame with complete ease made her seem like she belonged just there. She fitted in.
She was effortlessly gorgeous – from her perfectly toned, long legs that were barely covered by the very shirt I had been admiring on Harry last night, to her obvious just-fucked hair. Hell, she even looked flawless with no make up as the light hit her at just the right angle.
She fitted into Harry's life perfectly – like there had been a Kendall-shaped hole just waiting for her to stride into. I could almost imagine the two of them together – they were probably deliriously in love – their perfect brunette babies in their prefect little house with a white picket fence.
Snap out of it, Taylor. Put on a brave face.
"Taylor," I stuttered and gently shook her hand.
I couldn't believe Harry had a girlfriend. He made no mention of her last night as he spoke of all his family and friends. Not even her name.
I felt played – betrayed even.
And where had she been last night?
She couldn't have been in the apartment – it had a hollow emptiness to it, or maybe it was the fact that it was recently moved into. Even though I had pretended I hadn't seen the hesitation in Harry's eyes just when I thought he was going to kiss me – it was there.
Was she the reason he had stopped himself from kissing me?
She must be.
"Haz," she shouted into the apartment behind her, "Taylor's here."
She turned back towards me, "He'll be here in a sec. D'you wanna come in for pancakes?"
I loved pancakes.
But I couldn't do that. I wanted to cut ties completely with Harry – he was poisoning me.
"Sorry, I'm vegan," I lied.
"Oh," her face fell slightly but then perked up again when she noticed the plate of cookies I was carrying, "so are those vegan too?"
As I was about to make up some immaculate lie about the cookies, Harry soundlessly emerged from behind Kendall.
