PAST

You were sitting in bus when your phone rang. You instantly looked at the caller I'd and it was your husband.

Yn(otp):"Hello ?"
Jungkook (otp):"Hello yeobo, where are you ? You aren't home yet ?"

You looked outside the window. You were coming back from office, looks like he got free from office early.

Yn(otp):"I'm on the way, will be there in just 15 minutes."
Jungkook (otp):"Great, I'm waiting for you."
Yn(otp):"Ok then, I'll hang-"

Jungkook (otp):"wait, wait, wait-"
You frowned when he cut you off suddenly.
Yn(otp):"uhh ?"

Jungkook (otp):"Put your phone on speaker."
You were confused at that sudden request.
Yn(otp):"What why ?"
Jungkook (otp):"c'mon yeobo, please once"

Not knowing what was up you put the phone on speaker, but were startled when the bus suddenly echoed with a loud voice, coming from your phone.

Jungkook (shouting on speaker):"YEOBO COME SOON, OUR BABY IS CRYING !!!"

you gasped and immediately cut off the call, but before hanging up you could hear unclear giggles of soyeon. Everyone was looking at you, you laughed awkwardly and bowed slightly to them.

Yn:"I'm sorry, I apologize."
People got busy in their businesses again, while you face palmed in embarrassment.
Yn(whispering with gritted teeth):"Jeon Jungkook, Yoon soyeon."

PRESENT

Soyeon:"Unnie, unnie."
You came out of your thoughts and looked at your sister who was calling you. Your brain started realizing the surrounding and the smile that was on your face started shrinking till it was no more on your face.

Soyeon:"Unnie, I'm done."
Yn:"huh ? Ohh."
You looked at the doctor who was sitting on the chair.

Your sister came and sat beside you on the chair.

Dr Kim(arranging some files then looking at you):"Ms Yoon, tests are  done. There's nothing to worry much, everything is going fine right now. I have changed a few medicines. Here."
You sighed in relief and and took the file from him.

After thanking the doctor you made your way outside. You were in the hallway when soyeon called you.
Soyeon:"unnie"
Yn(smiling at her):"yeah ?"

Soyeon:"Will you stay at home tonight ?"
You sighed and caressed her hand that was in yours.
Yn:"I'll see honey. I'm not sure."

Soyeon(pouting a little):"unnie please."
Yn:"I said-"
You trailed off when your eyes fell on a figure standing at a little distance away from you.

He was also looking at you. His doe eyes were as beautiful as ever. You felt your heart twitching.
But then your eyes fell on a beautiful and young woman who came to stand beside him.

He glanced at his side for a mere second before looking back at you. That woman was startled for a second after seeing you but then smiled which you returned.

Soyeon frowned and looked back but a wide smile spread on her lips after seeing him.
Soyeon:"Kook oppa !"

Jungkook looked at her and smiled while opening his arms.
Soyeon ran and hugged him while giggled. He chuckled and hugged her back patting her head.
You watched them with a small smile on your lips.

Soyeon parted from him and grinned.
Soyeon:"Look oppa, I am growing. I am reaching here."

She said, signalling that her height had reached just below his chest.
He ruffled her hair.
Jungkook:"You'll always be a baby for me, soyeon-ah."

Soyeon scrunched her nose.
Soyeon:"I'm 13 years old okay ? I'm not a child."
You all chuckled at that. But you got a phone call. You looked at the number and sighed.
Yn:"Soyeon"

She looked back at you.
Yn:"We've to go."
Soyeon:"It's okay unnie, I'll come with oppa."
Yn:"But-"

Jungkook (looking at you):"It's okay. She'll come with me."
You stared at him for a second before gulping and looking away.

Yn:"Ok then. I'll be going."
You said and gave the woman, who was standing beside Jungkook, a slight bow. She bowed back at you lightly.

Minsoo:"Bye, be safe."
You smiled at her.
But before going you looked at Jungkook's left hand and saw wedding ring he was wearing.

Your chest tightened a little. You felt hurt. But hiding your emotions you walked away from there.
Jungkook's eyes were glued to your back till you were out of sight. Minsoo observed that and struggled to keep her smile.
