Moments before they arrived at the capital of Hartia, Jay, Sylvia, and Blue were flying on the back of Lina's dragon form. Everything was quiet, the only sound being the wind blowing against their faces due to the speed at which they were traveling.
"You know, when we arrive where we need to be, I was thinking—" Sylvia began, but before she could finish her thought, Jay delivered a powerful kick to her head, pushing her off the dragon's back and sending her plummeting downward.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Blue shouted at Jay, ready to save Sylvia. Before he could act, Jay tied a string of Skullk around Lina's neck and started falling, his hand resembling a hammer made out of Skullk.
He quickly reached Sylvia and, with a powerful kick, sent her plummeting from mid-air into the water below. The water in the Prestiges ocean was special; it consumed anything that made contact with it.
Just before Jay was about to touch the water, the string pulled him upwards. Blue acted immediately, grabbing Jay by the neck and hauling him back onto the dragon's edge.
"Why did you do that?" Blue shouted, his voice filled with anger.
"Why the fuck not?" Jay smiled, his voice betraying a mix of worry and amusement at the situation.
"I am, going to kill you," Blue said softly, tightening his grip around Jay's neck.
"Hey, listen, buddy, you need me. You need me so Lora can stay aliiive," Jay said, raising his voice as he grabbed Blue's hand.
Blue's eyes started to glow with intensity. "How can I be sure you're not going to go back on your word?"
Jay exhaled deeply, and with a calm, relaxed voice, he said, "How about a reality deal then?"
