Chapter 7

I can't believe this, my own paintings are hanged in one of the most famous museums in the Philippines and I'm so happy seeing my signature and my name.

Looking at my paintings brought joy to my heart, tears were also about to fall down, eto na yata ang pinaka masayang achievement ko.

A lot of people enjoyed looking at my paintings too, I see them constantly taking pictures with it and surprisingly pag nakikita nila rin ako nag pa-pa picture din sila sakin.

Ever since last week, people at school would constantly wave and greets me they even ask to take pictures na rin.

Me and dad just admired all the paintings in the museums.
eto na din ang bonding time namin ni dad specially cause we have the same passion.

We were just walking till my dad stopped me "Estoy tan orgullosa de ti, hija mía" my dad said which means I'm so proud of you, my daughter.

I've heard this before since dad never forgets to say this to me whenever I have an achievement, but hearing this again makes me feel so loved, I am so grateful for dad and kuya.

"Kuya asan ka na?" I asked my brother through the phone.

"Otw na sa Artemis Lux, tell dad to just go straight there."

"Okok bye cya"

Sinabi ko naman kay dad na matraffic na so we immediately got on the car and told the driver to drop us off at Artemis Lux.

Pagdating namin doon saktong nandito narin si kuya, sabay sabay kaming pumunta sa loob ng restaurant and as usual the workers greeted my family, they also congratulated me for winning and some people also clapped.

The waiter directed us to our table and we ordered food na rin, we spent the whole night talking about a lot of stuff but one of my dad's clients came and started talking business.

Even though my dad is an architect they still talk about business at dun ako nabo-bobo and I was slowly getting bored since kuya left na kaagad, kaya lumabas muna ako.

Pag labas ko I enjoyed the fresh air, the wind slowly made my hair dance, I enjoyed my time alone but I just feel very cold.

Habang ako ay nagpapalipas ng oras, I noticed a guy that stood beside me.

I looked up to my right and it was Kiel, why is he everywhere, kinakabahan nanaman ako, my hesrt is beating so fast.

Kiel was wearing a tuxedo suit, he looked very formal.

"What are you doing here, sa labas?" Tanong ni Kiel sakin while pulling out a cig and lighter and he begun to smoke.

"Dad is having a business talk and I got bored" sagot ko namang not sounding nervous.

An awkward silence started building up and I couldn't talk kasi nilalamig na talaga ako, I was pretty obvious too because I was shivering.

I kept on stuttering already pero nagulat ako Kiel slowly handed me his hoodie.

"Eto hoodie gamitin mo, your shivering mamaya magka hypothermia ka sisihin mo pa ako."

"No its oka-"

"Rylie no keep it" he said forcing me to wear the hoodie.

Agad ko na din sinuot yung hoodie, the hoodie is baggy, and sobrang warm sa loob and it smells so good, smells very soft manly.

I was about to talk to him when my ringtone started going off.

"Rylie anak, sorry this meeting is important eh, go home na ingat call mo driver I love you." Sabi ni dad.

"Okay dad I love you bye."
