Chapter 5

I woke up recklessly from the loud roaring sounds of the cars and the loud construction coming from outside.

This is my second night sleeping here and I still couldn't get used to it, hindi pa ako nakaka-adjust.

With my 18 years of existence ngayon lang ako nahiwalay sa bahay, our house was my safe place, that place made me truly happy.

It is 6 am in the morning and the sun is barely up.

I tried going back to sleep pero wala talaga so I checked my socials while still laying down also looking through my big window giving me a view of the campus.

Pag-open ko ng phone ko nagulat ako sa nakita ko, I literally got up as soon as I saw what was on my phone.

Nakalimuta ko nga pala that me and my friends played Spin the bottle plus dare the other day at yung dare ko is to follow Kiel in all platforms.

"Fuck" I mumbled.

That night kasi was when I ran into him tapos nagalit siya but that was when I developed certain feelings for him.

I don't know if you call that, love at first sight? but I admired his handsome looks, his features put a smile on my face, sobrang pogi niya, yun lang masama ugali but you know I can change him.

Ang nakakahiya lang is finollow ko talaga siya in all social medias and I seem like a stalker.

Pag-open ko ng phone ko nakafollow back siya sa Instagram.

Butterflies started roaming around my stomach and kinilig narin ako.

Instagram has this new feature they added called notes and you can just express anything on there but nagulat ako when Kiels note was "stalker much, wag mo kalimutan ginawa mo." Was he talking about me? Is he still mad? Should I say sorry?

These questions circulated around my brain which made it hurt sumabay din ang pagtibok ng puso ko.

It took me about 30 minutes thinking about his notes, or am I just overacting and delusional na para sakin yun?

To ease my mind lumabas muna ako ng kwarto at pumuntang kitchen.

I made a matcha latte and tumambay sa sala. I was just sitting there for the next hour, when I heard Loreen closing her door and on her way to the kitchen.

"OH SHIT! Rylie you scared the crap out of me, why are you awake so early isn't your class at like 9:45 or something? It's 7:30 in the morning."

"HAHAH! Sorry for scaring you I really just can't sleep." I replied with a little chuckle.

Loreen is not the type to wake up early, she usually wakes up at around afternoon but she has 8 am morning classes kaya maaga siya ngayon.

"Rylie I'm gonna go na, malalate nako ngayon, see you in campus."

"See youuuu" I screamed.

Today nga pala is the day we can attend the booths that are organized by the sophomores, it is part of the tradition 1 which is the Fresmans/sophomores collides.

When I finished my matcha agad din naman ako pumunta sa kitchen para maghugas pagkatapos agad din akong pumunta sa aking kwarto para kumuha ng damit.

I went straight to the bathroom and took a shower.

Nagpalit din kaagad ako.

The weather forecast said that it will be very sunny today kaya I chose to wear a thin grey sweatshorts and wore a white baggy ralph lauren T-shirt na may bear design sa harap and I wore my pink sambas, gold jewelry, and ang buhok ko naman is left down with two braids at the front.
