I laid on my bed, my sad playlist turned up to full blast.
Words couldn't even describe how broken I felt.
I had thought Keefe and I were meant to be.
Though if we had been, we wouldn't have drifted apart so easily.
I didn't think the argument was that severe.
Maybe I said something to Keefe.
I couldn't remember what me or Keefe really said.
Only two words stayed in my mind.
You're wrong.
I tried as hard as I could to remember why he said those words.
I knew the information was in my brain, I just had to find it.
It was like my brain didn't want me to hear the argument again.
For a week after that he didn't talk to me at all.
I hadn't tried to talk to him, he obviously didn't want me.
It wasn't until the battle against the Neverseen when he said anything to me.
"Are you ready?"
"As much as I will be."
"Just be careful.."
His words had confused me.
I had thought he was mad at me, why would he care?
After we defeated the Neverseen we had become sorta friends again.
It was awkward, but better than nothing.
I couldn't help wondering what I had done to ruin everything with Keefe.
I turned over and stared at the drawing Keefe had made me.
It was simple, just us two, reading some sort of book.
I sighed.
My imparter buzzed.
I half-heartedly walked over to see who it was.
I answered it and Biana's face appeared on the screen.
"Woah, Sophie. You look like a wreck. What happened?"
I shook my head and waited for her to ask whatever she was going to ask.
She talked for a while before getting to the point.
"Sleepover! Get someone else to come with you and get here quick!"
I sighed but agreed, this would be interesting.
