I still remember Mama's voice when the letter arrived that I got accepted into the U.A. She cried tears of happiness as she held me close to her. My dad was also enthusiastic when I got in and he too congratulated me highly. As if that wasn't enough my mom made sure that everyone in my family knew that I had been accepted into U.A.! So many people congratulated me on my accomplishment and it made me feel so good about myself!

Not only that, I ended up being first in the Mock Test! I had 78 Villain points and 60 Rescue Points! I didn't even know that I had gotten so many points just like that! I'm surprised that I surpassed Bakugou in the exam...he seemed to have it all down and ready.

I still couldn't believe that right now, here today—I am standing in front of this school once again. Yeah, it's pretty nerve-racking having to move schools again but this time I'm not the only new student in school. So many other people who made it into the U.A. will all be there so what is there to worry about? Besides, Deku will also be there since he of course told me that he had gotten accepted.

Four other people got in because of recommendations and thirty-six were through the regular exams. We were all split into two classes of twenty students each. I do hope that I'm in the same class as Deku...or maybe even that kind of girl from the exams! Most importantly, I hope that my classmates are nice!

"Okay, okay...calm down..." I muttered to myself as I was met with a huge door with a sign that said, "1-A" at the very top. I felt my palms get sweaty as I clenched my bag. I can't just stay in front of this door forever—as much as I wanted to...I took a deep breath before reaching for the handle, sliding the door open, and peeking in.

"Take your feet off of the desk this instant! It's the first day and you're already disrespecting this academy by scuffing school property, you cretin!" A male student barked with authority. My eyes widened at the sight. Bakugou smirked up at the other male with amusement written all over his face.

Oh great, me and him are in the same class...

"Hah, you're kidding me, right? Did your old school put a stick up your ass or were you born with it?" He sneered mockingly. Bakugou and the male continued to argue until they went silent.

...Oh—OH! They're looking at me...! Everyone is...!

I shifted uncomfortably from where I was standing in the doorway as I looked away.

Should I say something...? They're all just staring at me like I was some crazy person...Too many eyes, far too many! Are they thinking bad about me? Wait, no, are they trying to point out my insecurities? NO! What if they think I look so different from them—no I DO look different from them...! I'm just some American...! Where's the teacher when you need them...!?

"G... G- Good morning..." I spoke in such a tiny voice that I doubted anyone who wasn't close enough to hear me would be able to hear a thing I just said.

"Good morning." The same male that was bickering with Bakugou a few moments ago said. He marched over to me with such authority—such seriousness that I almost felt intimidated. "My name is Tenya Iida." He introduced. He held out his hand firmly to me, expecting a handshake. I looked down at his hand before reaching to shake his.

"M-My name is L/n Y/n..." I said shyly. "It's a real pleasure to meet you...!" We released our hands from the handshake.

"L/n, you're the one who got to the top of the Exam, correct?" Iida suddenly asked. I nodded my head in response. "I misunderstood you, I'll admit," Iida spoke, closing his eyes tightly and gritting his teeth. What does he mean? Misunderstood me?
