"Midoriya, have you seen L/n?" Iida asked Deku.
"Oh, no...I haven't seen her ever since I headed to Recovery Girl..." Deku scratched the back of his head as he gave Iida an apologetic smile. "Sorry." Now that Deku thinks about it—where did you go?

Mr. Aizawa did say to pick up a syllabus to read over to be prepared for tomorrow...
I walked through the halls of the U.S. silently, heading in the direction of my class. I still feel a little dazed after all that happened, especially by the way Bakugou was glaring at me. It made me a little...weirded out. I don't know how to explain it. It's just weird how he is consistently trying to surpass everyone around him and he doesn't get tired of it. If anything, that's impressive.
I slid open the classroom door, making my way over to the stacks of books on the other side of the room. I looked over the shelf before reaching and picking out a book that was for certain Techniques for Quirks.
This seems promising.
"I see that you're one of the few who followed directions."
I jumped straight at the sudden voice and spun around to see Mr. Aizawa standing in the doorway. Where in the world did he come from like that...? "...Mhm..." I nodded my head slowly as I fiddled with the hem of my skirt.
"If you don't mind me asking, what is your quirk? I've seen you use it from today but I don't know how you use it." Mr. Aizawa questioned. His eyes bored into my E/c ones. I can't just avoid the question, plus I don't think I'll be fighting Mr. Aizawa anytime soon. He's my teacher, not an opponent so I think it'll be okay.
"Ah, m-my quirk is called, "Voice of Silk"," I informed. He made a sound of acknowledgment, a deep hum. "To get it started, I must have to say the full name of someone and then I'll be able to control them. Silk comes from my fingertips and I can latch onto various things while the victim is under my control for 7 minutes." I explained.
"I see, I assume that you don't need a certain volume to get the quirk to take control of another person?" He asked me. I shook my head no.
"Nothing really special...I'm sure another work has the deal with Mind Control..." I added as I rubbed my arm.
"That's a pretty interesting quirk you got there, L/n. Learn how to be proud of it." Mr. Aizawa spoke. I felt my mouth open and close a slight bit. I never expected someone like Mr. Aizawa to say that to one of his students on the very first day—not to mention how harsh he was on Deku during the last test. But yet it made me feel good inside. I don't know whether it was a compliment or just him saying that just to say it but either way, it touched my heart. So, compliment it is!
"Yes sir." I nodded. I clutched the book in my hands. "It was nice seeing you today Mr. Aizawa, thank you." I excused myself after that, hurrying out of the classroom. I released a breath that I hadn't realized I'd been holding in all this time.
I don't think Deku is waiting for me anymore...
I thought with a sigh. Not that it would bother me if he walked without me because he too also has a life, it's just that I'll be walking home without having anyone to talk to—
"There she is! Hey L/n!" I looked off from the ground and saw Ochaco waving at me. Iida and Deku were there too! Have they been waiting for me this entire time...?
