8. Jharkhand vs Haryana

2 weeks later:

Soon, it was the final match: Jharkhand vs Haryana.

It was the final day, and Jharkhand needed 125 runs, off 120 balls to win the finals.

The openers, Ishan and another player, named Utkarsh Singh entered the field.

Ishan caught Kashvi looking at him from the stands, standing with Ritika Bhabhi, and Rohit Bhai.

"Concentrate Ishan. You need to win this for your team." He muttered to himself, and took his position at the crease.

As the first ball was thrown, Ishan hit back a six, his eyes still fixed on Kashvi, even though he tried not to stare at her.

Ishan, as the opener was the only one to stay through the end. 3 wickets fell, but Ishan stayed at the crease.

There were 4 balls left, and Jharkhand needed 16 runs needed.

Ishan, still staring at Kashvi, took it upon himself to finish the match.

Ishan hit two consecutive sixes, bringing the score down to 4 runs off 2 balls.

"Rahul to Ishan, the bat swings but Ishan misses the ball!" The commentator said through his mic.

"Can they get a four on the last ball and win the tournament?" Another commentator said.

"Ishan looks like he'll get it, lets see what happens!" The third commentator added.

"Rahul to Ishan once again, and the bat hits it for a SIX! JHARKHAND has won the tournament!"  The first commentator said.

The team ran onto the field, hugging each other and then shaking hand with the Haryana team.

Ishan searched for Kashvi, but she wasn't there. He had stop looking for her, because he was called up for player of the match.

"Ishan," He heard a voice, after he had collected his award. "Congratulations."

"Thanks, Kashvi." He smiled at her.

"You were great out there, and I'm glad I could capture all your sixes and fours on the camera." She said, bringing out her camera.

"You captured everything on there?"

"Just a few runs and wickets of the team, but I captured mainly your sixes and fours, Ishan."

"I'm grateful, for that Kashvi." Ishan said.

"Kashvi!" Aadhya and Anisha called her.

Aadhya, Anisha, Shubman and Abhay were back in Mumbai, now.

"Aadhya! Anisha!" Kashvi said as she approached them.

"I must say, Anisha, Kashvi, and Kanishka, your friend Aadhya here, proved that she is the top interior designer in the country." Aadhya blushed at Shubman's comment.

"You wouldn't be wrong, Shubman. All four of them are talented." Shreyas said, coming up to them.

"Well, both groups are reunited. How about we have a night out?" Ishan asked. "Y'know, celebrate the win, and the reunion."

"How about tomorrow night, Ishan? It's very late anyway." Shubman said.

"Someone's responsible now, huh?" Shreyas teased.

"It is late, though Shrey." Shubman said.

"Yeah bro, 10pm on a Wednesday is late." Ishan said.

"Shubman's right. And Kanishka, aapka dance competition bhi hai na." Shreyas said.

"Hai, but you guys carry on." Kanishka said, smiling at Shreyas.

"Anisha, Abhay will drop you home," Shubman said.

"Abhishek? Absolutely not, I'm not going with him." Anisha said.

"Ishan is dropping Kashvi...wait guys, let's just go in one car na? We're going the same direction and same place anyway." Abhay said.

"Yeah, that's smart. Time bhi bach jayega, and we can catch up as well."

All of them agreed, and left the stadium.

As they left, Kanishka bumped into someone she hated.

"What are you doing here?" She said.

Shreyas heard, and came to her.

"Everything okay, Kanishka?"

"Yeah, everything fine."

"Okay, let's go then." Shreyas said, following her out.

Shreyas got into the driver's seat, Kanishka next to him.

"So how are you feeling for the dance competition?" He asked, as the others engrossed in a conversation about films behind them.

"I don't know..."

"He's back." She added quietly, so the others didn't hear.
