10. Dance competition. [Version 2]

"Well, well, who do we have here?" A voice said.

They turned, to see.

A guy, with his own men standing behind him.

Kanishka stood up, in shock, and the boys stood up as well. "Why are you here?!" She said, her voice trembling.

"Kanishka, who is he?" Shubman asked.

Kanishka didn't reply, but by her reaction, Shubman and Shreyas had understood who it was.

Abhay and Ishan soon realized, and seeing Karan look at Kanishka with the wrong intentions, Shubman said: "Iski toh main-" but Ishan stopped him.

"Bro, stop. This is his plan, to provoke us, get us out of the way and for him to get to Kanishka. Dimag se soch, dil se nahi." Ishan said.

"Ish, just look at the way he's fuckin looking at K." Shubman said, his voice filled with anger.

"Shubman, Ishan's right. I don't want anything to happen to any of you guys, and especially not because of me." Kanishka said.

"Enough of your discussions! I'm going to take Kanishka away from all of you in front of you. Behen maante ho na, Kanishka ko? Then I'll make sure you are there when I torture her!" Karan said, still looking at Kanishka.

"We don't want to get someone like you, arrested. What would the headlines be? Billionaire's son gets arrested. So either you get out yourself, or we teach you a lesson." Shreyas said, rolling up his sleeve.

"Fine, I'll leave. But this is not the end of it." Karan said, and left with his men.

After they left, Shubman received a text from Aadhya.

Aadhya: Hey Shubman! I hope everything's alright, do you have any clue where Kanishka is? She's not home yet. And neither is she responding to any texts or calls!

"Hey guys, do the other girls know about this dance studio?" Shubman asked, before he responded to her.

"Yeah, Aadhya's the one who designed the dance studio." Shreyas said.

Shubman: Hey, Aadhya! Yeah everything's fine! Actually Shreyas brought her here to the dance studio.

Aadhya replied immediately: But any reason why her phone would be off?

Shubman: Battery dead, she was practicing for the dance competition using music from her phone.

Aadhya: Okay, thanks for informing me, Shubman! I'll see you tomorrow.

Shubman: Yeah, for sure.

"I'm sorry for lying to you, Aadhya." He muttered to himself, feeling guilty for lying to Aadhya.

"Guys, what music should Kanishka choose for the dance competition?" Ishan said, trying to change the mood, and being successful in doing so.

"Guys, pehle yeh toh batao, ki how many songs?" Abhay asked.

"Two songs, so maximum of 8 minutes in total." Kanishka said.

"So each song has to be about 4 minutes or less." Shreyas said, nodding.

"Yeah," Kanishka said.

Shubman came back to the four. "Aadhya texted."

"What did she say?!" Kanishka asked, immediately.

"She was asking where you were, that's why I asked if they knew about the studio."

"You didn't tell her about this, did you?"
