Welcome back, everyone! The author just can't seem to leave this story alone, huh? Well, let's dive right in.
After a cold shower and a change into pajamas, I found myself contemplating my situation. I didn't want to end up like Kimimaro, who died due to tuberculosis and rapid cell regeneration. What if I just cut off my arm or something? I'm too young for these shenanigans.
After a quick meal, I went to bed. My academy days were set to start in a year, which meant I'd be in the same batch as Konohamaru and his friends.
Fast forward a year, and it was my first day at the academy. Naruto was set to graduate in a few days, and I had plans to sneak a peek at the scroll. I'd spent the year training, preparing myself for the possibility of contracting the same disease as Kimimaro. Instead of using kunai, I made my own weapons. My outfit was already decided: shinobi pants tied at the bottom, Jerusalem 11's (or in other words, the sandals), a black vest under a kimono that could act like Kimimaro's, and my hair, which had grown out and turned white, was tied up in little bands. I also had a couple of hidden daggers, just in case I couldn't summon a sword fast enough.
I knew I was going to mess up the timeline, but I didn't care about the "Butterfly Effect". It could kiss my ass.
On my way to the academy, I remembered that I'd started two businesses: a weapon shop and a singing place. I used the transformation technique and shadow clones to manage them. Since I had knowledge of songs from my original world, it was easy. I also wanted to become a writer. As for the Hyuga thing, I had to visit them every week so they could evaluate my skills.
One time, during a spar...
Flashback...
Y/n was escorted to meet with the head of the clan and elders.
"Boy," Hisashi said, "what have you improved on in your time alone? Remember, if we don't see promise..."
He left the threat hanging while Y/n was chilling. "Yes, I understand, sir," Y/n replied. Hisashi then called in the sparring partner, a side branch member who stood acting all condescending and arrogant. "This is going to be easy," thought the Hyuga member. Y/n just stared at him while standing up.
Then his right sleeve of his kimono slid down as a hilt of a sword appeared on his shoulder. The council of the Hyuga clan was shocked, murmuring among themselves.
Y/n grabbed it, making a short sword come out. He swung it down as it sliced the air, showing that it was sharp. The side branch member, barely deterred, pulled out a kunai as Hisashi said start.
While this was happening, Hinata and Hanabi were watching the fight. Hinata hoped they would be okay, and Hanabi looked intrigued.
Back to the fight. The member ran first, throwing strikes as Y/n, being nimble, dodged all of the strikes the person was making.
Then, using his sword, he rushed in and ducked a swing. He jumped up and kicked the person in the chin, flipping the person mad. The member dropped his kunai and ran, throwing Jouken strikes at him.
Y/n then slid and tripped the member before holding the sword to his throat with a grin. Finally speaking, "Fatality!!!"
Flashback end...
Ah, those were the good old times. I then made it to the academy. I gave them the money and handed the permission slip that I got signed by the Hyuga head, Hisashi.
I walked away after all that and went to my assigned class. I walked in and saw all the seats taken besides one next to Hanabi Hyuga. Since she looked like Sasuke 2.0 with the mad face, I just sat down and was about to catch some Z's before she said, "What was that ability... that you displayed in your spar?"
"Oh, you're talking about my bone release? Huh, oh that's just a cool ability I have from my dad!"
"How does it work exactly?"
"... it's a secret, Miss Heiress. Sorry," I smiled at her before resting my head again.
"My name is Hanabi Hyuga," said Hanabi as I lifted my head again.
"Oh, I'm Akira, but call me Y/n, please," I responded.
After that, a random side character teacher, who probably will get killed during the Pein arc, appeared. I know his name is Pain, but Pein sounds better, okay? Don't ask me why.
After all that, it was lunchtime, but I didn't have any food, so I rested. Then we were told there were going to be sparrings tomorrow to find the strongest shinobi and kunoichi and the dead last.
After all that, I was heading home, but I was stopped by the big noggin princess herself.
"Tomorrow, you will spar with me. As for today, I have training. Do you understand?" she said, her indifferent look on her face.
"Yeah, sure," I said before walking off, waving. Looks like I got a sparring partner for tomorrow, huh, folks!
