After my playful antics in the hot springs, I still insisted that I had a good voice. I got dressed and waited for Hanabi to arrive. I knew I was supposed to be overpowered, but the author and I had decided to take it slow with the whole OP thing. I wasn't going to be too powerful too quickly, as I was still at a middle-level high genie at best. I knew I was only at genin level, and I had decided not to contract the same illness that Kimimaro had, as my cells were already replicating at a faster rate due to my half-breed status. I just needed to put my healing cells to use.
As I was deep in thought, Hanabi finally walked out in a beautiful kimono, smiling and walking towards me. The guards were keeping a watchful eye on us, but I couldn't help but smirk and say, "Good spar, you did good." She replied with a smile, "I know I did, you did okay too, I guess."
We started talking, and I jokingly asked her, "Hey Hanabi, do you want to help me catch a fish tomorrow?" She looked at me with a puzzled expression and asked, "Why do you want a fish?" I replied, "Oh, after the academy then alright." Hanabi agreed, and we made plans for the next day. I walked home after that.
