CHAPTER XV: PROPOSAL

As Professor Elizah's voice filled the classroom, Hailey sat attentively, scribbling notes in her notebook. Suddenly, the door swung open, and Lex burst in, a sense of urgency in his expression.

"Professor Elizah," Lex said breathlessly, "the new HEAD is calling for Hailey."

He got down on one knee, his eyes shining with sincerity. "Will you marry me?"
