Josh: Wth just happened?

The three of them walked out of the canteen laughing continuously. Josh was embarrassed as he was rejected by a "normal " girl . He was totally flustered because everyone were gossiping about the incident.

Havana and Hailey were packing up as the day is over. Josh is still thinking about the rejection and Jess can't wait for the bell to ring.

At the parking lot

Jess: Hey twins, do you mind if I drop you guys home?
Hailey: Nah it's ok . Why burden you?
Havana: Yes Jess. I know you want to hang out with us but we need to hurry.
??: Hey idiot, look at me !!!
Jess: What are you doing here?
??: You Dumbo did you forget what day is today?
Jess: Oh yeah right, I totally forgot about it. Anyways I am hanging out with my friends. Leave me alone.
??: Oh really don't bluff. I heard your conversation. I know they ain't coming.
Hailey: Isn't he the guy who asked me for the debate this morning?
Jess: Yeah.
Havana: What's he doing here?
Jess: He's my brother.

Your what ? the twins shouted in unison.
Jess: I told you I had a brother right. That's him.
??: Hey beautiful.
Havana: Who you talking to?
??: Definitely talking to you..r sister.
Havana scoffed
Jess: Eww why are you flirting with my friends?
??: Correction Jess, it's not friends it's friend only.
Hailey: What's your name ?
??: You can call me yours .
Hailey: Jess what's your brother's name?
Jess: It's Vincent Lex Clark.
Lex: You can call me Lex my lady.
Hailey: My lady?But Mr. Vincent I have a doubt.
Lex: Please tell me my lady.
Hailey: Today morning when I told you that Emma is calling you why did you run to her? Do you like her or something?
Havana: Are you angry that he went towards her or jealous that he didn't stay with you?
Jess: Wait Hailey , is there something going on here without my consent?

Lex: My lady it's not what you think, yeah I did run towards her because she's been setting me up with her friends the whole day. Those poor girls believed her, they came to me thinking I like them. She's been pranking all the freshmen students lately.

Hailey: I should put Emma in her place. *Hailey mumbled to herself*

She was so lost in thoughts that she didn't see Lex staring at her.

Josh's POV:
I saw Havana, her sister and Jess standing near their parking lot.
Hailey is lost in thoughts and Jess is looking towards a man. He's tall, good looking too. He's slowly getting closer to Hailey but she's still lost somewhere. That's when I saw those beautiful eyes looking at me.

She looked at me with those innocent eyes and I couldn't stop myself from staring at her eyes. Her eyes were glistening like honey with the sunlight hitting her eyes in this golden hour. She looks magnificent with those honey eyes. No lies but I want to get lost in those eyes.

She suddenly turned away looking at that guy. She pulled him away from her sister. Jess is just in shock. Hailey is blushing?!! The hell! this cold girl can also blush???

She looked at me once again and then towards that guy . She grabbed her sister and left.
What is happening? Why am I curious about this girl? Why do I want to just hold her and tell her that I love her? Am I jealous? Wth is happening to me?

You're in love Josh, said his inner voice. Me ! Love !? No way . He talked to himself and left .

Later Lex and Jess and also left .

At home
Hailey : Why was he that close to me Havana?
Havana: Were you even conscious at that moment? What were you thinking that made so lost in thoughts that you didn't even see that he's literally inches away from you?
Hailey: What he came that close to me? Really??
Havana: Why did you want him to come more closer ? Or just
Hailey: Havana stop !! You do know that I hate guys.
Havana : That's why you were blushing like a beetroot?
Hailey: Don't people compare blushing to a tomato?
Havana: Yeah if you were blushing a little I would have said tomato. You were blushing like someone painted your entire face with paint and blush .

Hailey: Really?? I don't think I should be doing that. I can't betray him.
Havana: About whom are you talking about? And what do you mean betraying?
Hailey: Havana you do know that I love V . Do you really think he'll like when he'll know that I blushed seeing a guy that I just met??
Havana: Yah pabo. Do you really think you are in a relationship with him? He's a idol don't be so delusional.
Hailey: When did I say I want to be in a relationship with him? It's just a way to distract myself from unnecessary feelings. I am not YN from those fanfictions. Do you really think Taehyung will just randomly come in to my life and within few days he'll say " YN I really love you? Will you marry me?".

Havana: I know I know. What about that Vincent guy then ?
Hailey: You didn't notice that Josh guy in the parking lot, did you?
Havana: N..no . Eh..why would I..I see him?
Hailey: I saw you too staring into your souls earlier. Don't lie with me.
Havana: Do you really think he's not good for me?
Hailey: It's not that he's not good for you or something. It's just that I heard that all peers are trying to prank the freshmen students. I just want you to be safe and not get hurt. If he really loves you, he will come for you. He wouldn't just forget you after the proposal.
Havana: Yeah you seem correct. What if does change ? What should I do then?
Hailey: Go kiss him or hug him . I don't care what you both will do ?
Havana: Yahh don't tease me. I just asked you a question. It's not like I'll crawl back to him if he changes!!
Hailey: Whatever

They later study and go down for watching a movie.

Hailey: I don't think Josh is really in love with my sister. I think it's Emma's plan for taking revenge. I shouldn't envolve my sister in this .
*Her phone buzzes*It's a message from Jess

Jess: I need to talk to you urgently. Meet me on the rooftop tomorrow.
Hailey: What happened?
Jess: I can't tell you now. Just meet me on the rooftop.
Hailey: But atleast listen to me.

*Message sent*

Hailey: She didn't even read my message. Ughh what happened to her? Is she really thinking that I like her brother eww.
