The first light of dawn shone down on her, casting a soft glow across the grass. As consciousness slowly returned, (Name) felt a gentle, rhythmic sensation on her head, pulling her from the depths of unconsciousness. The touch was tender, fingers gliding through her hair with a soothing, familiar warmth that made her open her eyes in shock.

She swiftly sat up, mouth opened in a gasp. The person that was previously caressing her head tenderly gave her a warm smile. That same smile that she found herself missing every time. Right in front of her sat her father.

"Diē-diē....Diē-diē! " She leaped into his arms as she began to cry into his shoulder. The man circled his arms around his little girl, pulling her into his comforting embrace. "My good daughter. Diē-diē and your A-niáng are sorry that they left you so early.

(Name) felt another presence behind her. They too joined the embrace before caressing her head. "My (Name). My sweet A-(Name). A-niáng is sorry that I wasn't strong enough to stay for you.

She began to sob harder, lifting her head up from her father's shoulder, facing her mother. Her mother still looked the same, as beautiful as she remembered. She lifted her arm, holding her mother's forearm in a comforting manner. "I don't blame you. I can never. I just wished that I noticed your pain earlier. "

The family remained in a embrace for they've finally reunited. (Name) began to speak out. "Is this heaven? It's so peaceful here.

OuYang Hong gave his daughter an assuring smile, "Not really, you have to cross that bridge in order to get there. However, you won't be staying here for long.

The younger lady sat up straight, looking at her father with widen eyes. "What do you mean I'm not staying her for long?! Am i going to hell?! Is it because of those porn books?! I swear it was Nie HuaiSang and Wei WuXian who made me read them!

Both her parents stared at her with dotted eyes after her outburst. She closed her open mouth, "So.....it's not the porn books?

Her father snorted against his palms as her mother pinched her two cheeks, an irk mark evident on her forehead. "Don't blame those two when you're the one who fell into the temptation. OuYang Hong don't you dare laugh! She must have gotten it from you!

" A-Niáng, it hurts! " (Name) whined before her mother finally lets go. She pouted, rubbing her cheeks. Even when she's dead, her mother stills finds a way to reproach her.

" But for real, what do you mean that I won't be staying here for long? Where will I be going? " She asked, her hands trembling as it gripped onto her hanfu. She didn't want to leave her parents after finally reuniting with them at last even if it was after she was dead.

The older man put a comforting hand on her head, "There's no need to be scared, A-(Name). It's just that A-Diē and A-niáng does not wish for you to cross that bridge now. "

" I still don't get what you're saying , A-diē! " She expressed, her brows furrowed into a frown. Her father as patient as ever, never faltered his smile.

" You're born with a great cause, A-(Name). It's not your time to cross this bridge just yet.

Shen Mingyu held her daughter for the last time, kissing her head tenderly. "Help them, (Name). While doing that, live your life to the fullest with no regrets. A-Diē and A-niáng will always be watching over you."

Her husband held both of them in his arms, kissing their little girl's head as well. " Live your life well, (Name). Keep moving forward."

The environment around her blurred, the edges softened by the sheen of her tears, transforming the world into a distorted, melancholic haze. She really did not wish to leave her parents but if she was given a chance to live again she would take it in a heartbeat.

Before she could even inquire more, darkness consumed her once again. She felt as if she was falling into a never ending pit of abyss.

*THUD*

Falling onto the hard concrete ground with a thud, she groaned. She remained laying on the ground, looking up at the starry night. "What in the fuck?"

As she was contemplating everything that she has just experienced from getting stabbed to seeing her dead parents, a deep chuckle could be heard from behind her.

"It seems I found my dinner tonight and a woman at that. Lucky me!" An ugly looking human looking creature sauntered towards her, drooling disgustingly.

" Tā mā de. A-Diē and A-niáng, just where the fuck did you just transport me to? " (Name) questioned. At this point, she didn't know whether to cry or laugh (#xieliankinnie).
