After the both of them had breakfast, Madeline started to walk away forgetting peter how he wanted to talk to her.
"Maddie!" Peter said running after her.
Madeline turned around quickly. "Oh sorry." She said.
"It's alright don't worry." Peter said after he sat down on a couch next to the window. Madeline took a seat next to him.
"You wanted to talk?" Madeline asked.
"I was wondering if you were okay. I mean your my personal assistant but you haven't really acted like one the last weeks. Is something wrong?" Peter asked her softly.
Madeline was relieved as she realized he didn't wanted to talk about her being a princess. She still wanted to tell him tho, but she wanted to do it on the right moment.
"I'm sorry this new place and stuff have been really great but it's all new to me and I have just been setting in."
"That's okay, i understand. I just wanted to be sure your okay." Peter told her. Genuinely caring about her.
"Thankyou for checking in on me." Madeline answered with a warm small smile on her face.
"Peter I wanted to talk to you." Susan came in but as she realized Madeline was next to him she said. "I'm sorry shall I come back?"
"What is it?" Peter asked her.
"About your marriage." Susan said with a cheecky smile towards Madeline, but she didn't notice.
Peter started to stand up and apologized to Madeline. He walked away with Susan. Madeline was super curious what there was to say about his marriage. She felt a bit uneasy for some reason. Was he marrying someone?
