Adam and Jonah had been investigating a home after a call for unusual paranormal activity in Mandela County, having to stay the night so they could get some footage and recording. So, for their stay, they were given a spare room to sleep in. But, the beds that were supplied to them were two twin sized beds... how cozy. Especially for such a tall man like Adam. However, he didn't seem to mind this for some reason, despite the fact his legs would be dangling off the foot of the bed.Adam was currently kicking off his shoes and getting himself ready to enter the bed by also emptying his pockets. He wasn't super tired, yet, but he knew he needed to sleep now or else he'd be up the entire night.
As for Jonah, he stood over his own separate bed with their shared video camera in hand, messing with the features before settling the camera on the nightstand to have it facing the room's door. His focus shifted to the bed he'd have to sleep in, which was something he wasn't too hyped about. After all, him and Adam always shared a bed together during investigations because 90% of the time they only had one guest bed, and the both of them were too stubborn to sleep on the couch. Plus, this place creeped Jonah the fuck out.
But then, he came up with a rather wicked idea...
So, using the knowledge he had on acting, he put his hands to his head and acted in a exaggerated fashion - trying to make himself seem upset or annoyed. "Aww man..."
Thankfully, this little act caught Adam's attention. Adam had just crawled into bed when Jonah spoke, his head turning up to look up at the latter with a curious brow raised, wondering what was up with the boy. This was it.
"Everything alright?" He'd ask, his tone low and monotone as he cuddled up into his bed.
"My bed is completely soiled..." Jonah forced a pouty face, dropping his hands from his head and turning his body to face Adam. "Someone pissed in it."
"Hm." He responded wih a straight-forward expression, but so far seemed to take the bait. Although, it's hard to tell if he fully believed Jonah or not, since Adam was a hard person to read. Then, he'd sit up slightly in bed and cross his arms over his chest. "Well, that's annoying. Who pissed in your bed?"
"I dont know, man." Jonah faked a sigh and looked back at the bed, trying to think of who to blame it on... why. ot the caller's dog. "Probably their dog."
Adam hummed softly, then nodded along - taking the bait easily without hesitation... mostly because the guy was too tired to want to check it out or point out his obvious bullshit.
"Yeah. That would make sense," He'd agree, his face showing little to no emotion or care towards Jonah's current "situation". Instead, Adam just slid back in bed and crossed his arms over his chest, closing his eyes once he got comfortable. You'd think the guy was a vampire from the way he sleeps.
Jonah stood beside Adam's bed, staring down at him awkwardly like a sick kid trying to tell their mother they threw up at 3 AM. He didn't really know what else to say, as he was more focused on the tense look on Adam's face that reflected the soft, warm, yellow glow from the nightstand lamp. Adam always looked on edge and tense, even in the calmest of situations, but in reality it was just the way his face rested... you could say he had a RBF.
Soon, Jonah moved by shoving his hands into his pockets and rocking on his heels, turning his head towards the direction of the closed bedroom door as he spoke. "Guess we have to share a bed then. What a shame."
