"jana, please come with me!"

i whined as i pulled jana out the classroom.

she just gave in & let me drag her to the basketball court, where gyuvin is playing right now.

we arrived & sat down the bleachers. i stared at him in awe, scanning his every move.

"oh? i swear that yu- he placed this inside my bag?!" jana said.

i looked over to her and saw a blue thick lookin' book in her bag. "what's that?"

she then brought the book out. "our year book when i was at elementary."

oof yeah right, jana said one time she met gyuvin and ricky when she was at elementary.

my mouth formed into an 'o' & i snatched it from her hands. i scanned through the book, lowkey searching for gyuvin here.

i then saw a familiar guy and snickered. dang, ricky looks so young & innocent here. he even looks like a teacher's pet.

my eyes trailed to the guy beside ricky's picture. kim gyuvin.

they were classmates??

so they've been close before.

i looked back up at gyuvin who's wiping his sweat off & gulping down water.

should i ask him? or not? awh my curiosity is gonna kill me.

i hesitantly stood up, making my way to him while jana looked at me, amused.

gyuvin had his back facing my way so i poked his shoulder & he turned around.

"oh.. hey, there." he greeted, unsure.

"i-i just wanna ask if you and ricky were friends back then.." i said.

he furrowed his brows. "why?"

i showed him the year book in my hands.

he then recognized that it was their year book. "yeah."

"we were best friends." he added that shook me.

"can you tell me more?" i asked when i got more curious. i don't even realize that i'm talking to my crush right now.

"i wish i can, but i can't. i still have training." he smiled and jogged away to his other teammates.

i pouted as i waked back to jana. "did you just grab the balls to talk to gyuvin?!"

i kicked her leg, not that hard though.

"gyuvin and ricky were best friends.." i said.

"i knew that. but i don't know what happened to them.."

i only hummed as a response to her. i wanna know.

but ricky took it kind of too far and accidentally pushed jungwon that resulted for him to slip on the wet floor and fall in to the deep pool

ricky and i tried saving him but non of us could swim that time

we tried calling for help but when the help came, it was too late.

jungwon drowned.

jungwon's parents moved cities and we never get to see them again.
