i walked in the school gates & to my surprise, no shen ricky came popping out of nowhere and asking for his homework.

and i just knew a new fact about him too. a best friend of him died. that's why he looked angry when he thought i tried drowning myself..

but just because his friend died, that doesn't mean he'll just suddenly change & be bad 'n such.

i shook my head. i should mind my own business.

"hey, bub." i turned around at the sudden voice. oh, ofc ricky.

"what do you want this time" i bluntly said before continuing to walk.

he didn't reply but grabbed my backpack that held me back from walking away from him.

"let's go have some fun." he said & dragged me by my backpack.

"what the- i'm not skipping school again!" i yelled, trying to escape from his grasp.

"yes, yes you are." he gave a sarcastic smile.

i'm gonna cry.

"ARE YOU STUPID? THE ENEMY IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU! KILL IT"

ricky shouted and i swear my ears can't take it anymore. they might as well just leave my body and never come back.

i struggled with the fake gun and pulled the trigger but i missed the enemy that resulted for me to lose.

ricky groaned and pushed me aside, inserting a coin to play the game.

"let's go own this shit." he mumbled before shooting the screen like a pro.

my mouth hung open. how tf did he do that so easily??

some girls then noticed him & istg i see hearts in their eyes as they look at him.

when ricky killed the last enemy, he acted all cool & winked over to the girls that made them squeal.

wtf is wrong with this dude

now he gon flirt with other girls when he legit forced me to fucking skip school.

i tried exiting the arcade to go back to school. i know i will be punished for being late but, it's better late than never.

i reached the exit, but then some guys entered from the exit door and shoved me aside.

my butt landed flat on the floor. what the fuck-

"there you are, you fucker." the guy who looks like their leader said.

the people in the arcade looked so scared while i don't even know what was happening.

i then heard a scoff from someone. "fucker, you say?" a familiar voice say. ricky?!

don't tell me these guys are ricky's enemies.

just as i thought, ricky got punched in the face. "ouch.." i whispered to myself as if i was the one who got punched.

that must've hurt a lot.

ricky striked back to the guy and the guy stumbled back. yeah, you go ricky!

and that's when their fight started.

the other people ran out the arcade so they won't get involved while i stayed.

i quickly fished out my phone & contacted someone.

after that, i stood up from my butt & glared at ricky's enemies who didn't even give a fuck about me.

as i saw ricky looking badly hurt, i gritted my teeth. "HEY!" i yelled at the guys.

they turned their heads to me, and so did ricky, but his eyes were wide.

"AIRI WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE" he angrily yelled at me. ooh, feisty.

i ignored him and looked over at his group of enemies' leader. "one versus five isn't really fair, right?" i sarcastically smiled.

he scoffed and looked at the injured ricky on the floor. "who's this bitch? your girlfriend?"

ricky glared daggers at him. "d-don't call her a fucking bitch."

the guy put on a smug face and walked over to me. "you think you're so brave, huh?"

i sassily rolled my eyes. "i even had the balls to drown myself." i said which made ricky snort.

"how about you? why aren't you hitting me? are you scared to be called gay?" i mocked and gave him a fake sad face.

his nose flared and i could see his face redden because of anger.

he put up his fist and was about to punch me when he heard police sirens outside.

"d-daeyoung! we need to go!!" his minions panicked.

he hissed and shot me another glare before running out the arcade's back door. (by skz)

i ran to ricky. "bro, you lookin' hurt there." i commented.

he then scoffed, "shut the fuck up."

i scoffed back. "is that how you treat the person who saved you from getting beaten up to death?"

"i saved you too when you tried drowning yourself. didn't you disrespect me?"

i rolled my eyes.

"airi! are you okay?!" the dude in a police uniform run to me. i nodded at my elder brother, ain.

"bro, we should take him to the hospital." i said, pointing at ricky.

ain nodded and helped ricky up. "are you airi's boyfriend??" he (ain) asked out of the blue.

"hell no." i answered for ricky. ain just chuckled and led ricky in his police car.

and there, we drove off to the hospital.
