the four of us are now in a restaurant gayeon told us about.

"what would you like to eat??" a waiter asked us with a clear fake smile.

i get you bruh.

"we would like this, this, and this please!" gayeon pointed at some dishes shown in the menu.

the waiter nodded & listed the dishes' names then walked away.

after that, we just sat there. our sitting position is just the same one we did at the library.

airi was on her phone, gyuvin was on phone & gayeon was on her phone. me, with my phone that has no battery;👁👄👁

airi suddenly stood up, along with gayeon.

"i'm just going to the restroom." they both said in unison.

gyuvin & i looked up at them with furrowed eyebrows. "suddenl-"

"bye!" the two then ran away.

well shit.

of all people, why do i have to be alone with gyuvin??

gyuvin coughed & took a sip of his glass of water while i just awkwardly looked around the restaurant.

five minutes passed & the girls didn't come back yet. i knew it. they planned this.

"what's taking them so long?" i heard gyuvin mumble to himself.

i snorted and he looked at me. "what's so funny?" he raised a brow.

"they left us alone on purpose." i said, still not looking at him.

"isn't it rude to not look at someone as you're talking to them?"

i scoffed & looked at him. "rude is a compliment for me. so, thank you."

he rolled his eyes, "why did they leave us though.. the food's almost ready."

"airi obviously planned this overall." i sighed. gyuvin confusingly looked at me, "why?"

"she.." i glared at him. "wants me to befriend you again."

he looked surprised. "eh?!"

i sighed, "look here, i'm gonna agree to be friends with you again."

he widened his eyes. "eh?!!" he exclaimed, much louder than before.

"shut up." i mentally facepalmed.

i'm doing this for you, ai. better thank me.

"but.. why are you willing to?" he asked. i raised a brow, "is it wrong to be friends with you again?"

he quickly shook his head. "i want to too." he slightly smiled but then it faded.

"but is it just because of her?"

"why do you care"

"whoo! the food is coming!" the girls suddenly appeared out of nowhere & sat back down.

i glared at airi as she apologetically smiled.

"here's your orders." the same tired waiter served us what gayeon ordered.

"yay! now, let's dig in!" gayeon then dug on her food.

the three of us then started digging in too.

and we ate in awkward silence.

"bye bye!" gayeon dragged gyuvin away as they left.

airi & i started walking back home too.

"i know what you planned with gayeon." i spoke.

she formed her lips into a thin line. "what plan?" she fake laughed.

i rolled my eyes. "you left me with gyuvin on purpose."

"no i di-"

i lightly kicked her leg. "YOU DID"

she then kicked my ass. "YES I DID SO DON'T YOU DARE KICK MY BEAUTIFUL LEGS ANYMORE"

"AND DONT KICK MY BEAUTIFUL ASS ANYMORE" i yelled back & people passing by us looked at me weirdly.

airi crossed her arms. "so? are you two good now?"

"hm, maybe..?" she low kicked my butt again. "OUCH STOP"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'MAYBE'?! YOU GO BE FRIENDS WITH HIM FOR SURE"

"WHY ARE YOU SO MAD?! I KNOW YOU LIKE HIM AND-" i halted on my words.

she blinked at me. "wha"

"do you want me to be friends with him because you like him?" i asked.

she halted from walking. "what? n-no!" she shook her head.

i couldn't tell if she's lying or not.

"then what?"

she sighed & was about to answer when someone called out.

"airi?"

we looked at the guy in a police uniform in front of us.

"b-bro?!"

airi's brother then looked at me seriously.

"why are you with him?"
