Shrugging and scoffing, Denis approached Harris on his beach towel. "Hey, uh, should we start finding the totem?? I mean, won't someone be like, 'Oh, look! A shiny rock! Lemme take this for my collection!' Huh?" Denis asked Harris.
"Calm your butt down," Harris said, lowering his sunglasses.
"Can you be more appropriate??" Denis tightened his lips.
"You haven't heard anything worse yet," Harris replied nonchalantly.
Rolling his eyes, Denis let out a dismissive scoff. He then turned to Felix. "Hey, Felix! Can you help me search for the totem?" he asked with a smile.
"Sure!" Felix agreed eagerly.
Felix stands up, and together, Denis and Felix search for the totem around the beach. They wander around side by side as they navigate the congested crowd. Looking at their feet, they look below for the item they're seeking. With this amount of people in one place, it seems impossible to find one tiny totem. This will be a nightmare.
A sense of nervousness hastens across Denis' fingertips as he ponders the location of the totem. He knows it is somewhere on Leighre Beach. However, the crowds are hindering their path, and it is obstructing their progress on their quest. Supposedly, Denis thinks too fast to believe it is a calm day. There will still be, as always, an obstacle in their way.
"Ugh! This will be impossible! The totem might be hidden under the sand! But just look! The beach is too big! Plus! There are too many people on this beach!" Denis groaned as they walked forward, searching for the totem. He then inadvertently hit his shoulder against somebody. "Oof, hehe!" Denis smiled awkwardly at the person, hoping that they wouldn't get mad at him.
"Not to worry!" Felix grinned. Grabbing a random stick on the sand, he uttered, "Faer totummus scaldien ounda aren, si tarmis etior xund en!"
Guided by the forces of magic, the totem hidden under the golden sand trembles and hovers towards Denis and Felix. Surprised by the sudden appearance of the totem, Denis falls on his back with a loud gasp. Felix giggles as he watches Denis fall. Stepping aside, Felix grabs the totem and hands it over to Denis.
"Wew, thanks," Denis grinned. Approaching Meredith, Denis showed the totem, saying, "Hey, Meredith! We found the totem!"
"Oh! How fantastic!" she smiled, grabbing the totem. "I'll return to the hotel for a moment and keep this in my bag. I'll be right back!"
"Okay!" Denis and Felix nodded.
Presley called out to Denis, Harris, Chloe, and Felix to join them in the water. "Hey, guys! Come join us in the water!"
Denis, Chloe, and Felix run forward and swim with Philip and Presley. Meanwhile, Harris shrugs, preferring to be on dry land. He puts on sunglasses and lies on his back, putting his hands on the back of his head. Denis laughs as they splash water on the beach. Gradually, he begins finding happiness in a realm full of mystery.
Soon, it is night. Denis is sleeping on the bed, sharing with Presley and Felix. Then, he wakes up, his eyes flying open. Rising from the bed quietly, Denis walks to the balcony and looks at the night sky, seeing the full moon.
Meanwhile, in Denis' world, Michaela and Robert hastily drive to the hospital. They then hurry to the emergency room, where they see Denis. But before they enter, Michaela shows her ID, revealing her identity. They are then allowed to enter, and they stand next to Denis on the bed. Worry pumps within their hearts as they behold the sight of their son.
