Denis tries using the wand from earlier to fill up the ravine so they can escape, but it doesn't work anymore for him because he doesn't know the spell. He only tries making up his spell, but he fails. Philip then nudges Meredith on the arm, his eyes possessing a sparkly glint. He better have a solution.
"Call Felix. He might know the spell," Philip suggested.
Swiftly, Meredith snatches her crystal phone from her pocket and dials Felix. Felix then flashes on the screen. However, he is sleeping, undisturbed by the cares of any ongoing events. Exactly on time.
Denis stood beside Meredith and pointed his wand towards Felix on her crystal phone. "Wake-us Up-us!" he chanted.
Magically, Felix woke up, yawning as he stretched his back. "Huh?" he mumbled, noticing his crystal phone was open.
"...I didn't expect that spell I made as a joke to work," Denis remarked as he shook his head, his eyes wide.
Denis, Harris, Philip, and Meredith immediately gathered, asking Felix for a spell.
"Felix! Do you know a spell to make a chunk of land to fill up a ravine?" Philip inquired.
Felix pondered momentarily, pressing a finger under his chin. "Hmm... that'd be Lutderum Vi Tierra," Felix replied.
Denis raised a brow as he mistakenly heard Lutderum Vi Sierra instead. "...Lutderum Vi Sierra?"
"Nope, Lutderum Vi Tierra. Don't say Lutderum Vi 'Sierra,' or you'll summon a mountain range," Felix clarified, raising a finger.
Taking a deep breath, Denis steps forward. Then, he points his wand towards the crack in the ravine. He then closes his eyes and channels his energy. Hopefully, this time, the spell works. Will it?
"...Lutderum Vi Tierra!"
Then, just like that. The missing chunk that splits the ravine around Denis, Harris, Philip, and Meredith fills up with land, allowing them to pass. With boisterous laughter, Denis, Harris, Philip, and Meredith leap forward and escape, hurrying away from the area. Later, Denis and his friends return to their home and gather in the dining room, the dim lights casting flickering shadows upon their faces.
"Oh, you're all home," Presley smiled as he, Chloe, and Felix gathered around the dining table with Denis, Harris, Philip, and Meredith. "So, heh, what happened?"
Before everyone could settle, Denis stepped forward and disclosed the topic, revealing the coven's next plan. "Guys, no time to explain. When I was at the coven, Lyvie told me they'd raid Oracle Miriam's town," he stated.
"Well, I suppose there's a benefit to joining the coven after all," Philip jested.
"Now that we know where the coven is going next, we should at least inform and warn the military so they can confront them," Presley advised, his brows furrowed.
"Same thought," Philip affirmed as he went to their landline, picking up the phone.
