"So what other food do you have?" Bart said as he sped around our kitchen, opening the cabinets and fridge. "You already had five boxes of cereal, and the good kind too!" I exclaimed as I grabbed the sixth box out of his hand. "Now go watch TV or something!" I said as I practically pushed him out of the kitchen. "Not this show!" Jaime complained as Gar's new show, Space Trek 3016, came on. Currently, we were sitting at our apartment, waiting for something exciting to happen. 'We' being Bart, Jaime, and I. Cassie, Traci, and Virgil were coming later to go see a movie. "What do you mean 'not this show'? This is Gar's show!" I said as I sat down on the couch next to Jaime and Bart.

"But the physics!" Jaime complained. "Physics?! I thought you hated physics!" I exclaimed. "All I'm saying is, there's no sound in space. The physics on this TV show are so messed up!" Jaime argued. "It's a fictional TV show for kids." Bart muttered as he threw more cereal into his mouth. "Then why are we watching it?" He said as he looked around to find the remote. "Then all our phones began to ring with the Hello Megan theme song. A mission call. "Finally!" I yelled as I scrambled to get my suit. "Hello Megan! Mission time!" Bart exclaimed as I saw M'gann's contact pop up. "Let's get suited up." I muttered as I quite literally rolled off the couch.

"That is a lot of Earthlings!" The New Genesis god, Bear, exclaimed after we all zeated to M'gann and Conner's house. He hasn't recognized me yet, and I hoped that he wouldn't. "Motherbox, let's be on our way!" Bear yelled as he opened a boom tube. "He's loud." I muttered, and Virgil nodded in agreement. "Guess you'll be studying those space physics up close, amigo!" Bart exclaimed as he nudged Jaime. "Who uses boom tubes for physics?" Jaime argued back. "Space physics?" Virgil asked. "It's an ongoing debate. Don't get me started." I replied as we walked through. As we walked out of the bomb, I heard a loud crash. I jumped down from the tube, since it was a few inches off the ground, and saw Bear lying flat on his face.

"Motherbox, why?" Bear questioned the tiny living box as he got up. The box made a dinging noise, and Bear's face twisted in confusion. "Magical bad luck?" Bear muttered in shock. "Uh, sorry, I got excited. Lost control." Traci apologized. "Don't blame ya, this is so crash! We are on a mission, in space!" Bart exclaimed. "Just like the Justice League." Cassie added. "Crash." I muttered, agreeing with Bart, as I looked at New Genesis. The trees and grass were all different shades green, blue, and purple. Bear laughed. "You Earthlings are considerably more enthusiastic than Superboy!" Bear yelled as he wrapped, more like squeezed, Bart and Virgil into a hug. "Now, let us get started! Follow me, friends of Superboy!" Bear yelled as he began to walk off, us following. I took only a few steps, before I stepped into a pile of leaves. A pile of deadly leaves. A jolt of electricity ran up my body, and then my world went dark.

Jaime's POV

I covered my ears as an alarm began to blare. "What the heck is that?!" Virgil yelled over all the noise. "Motherbox, off!" Bear yelled, and the small box beeped as the noise turned off. "What was that?" Cassie asked. "I don't understand, that alarm has not gone off in years. Not since-" Bear began, but Bart cut him off. "Uh, would you mind turning that off?" Bart asked, and my eyes widened as I turned around. Two small silver balls were shooting electricity directly around Chloe, who was frozen mid-step. "What is that?" Traci asked as I stood next to Bart. "No. No. It must be a malfunction. These traps were designed to catch a certain kind of alien species, the Helmans. She shouldn't have triggered it!" Bear exclaimed. We all exchanged glances. "I'm gonna kick it." Bart muttered, and he kicked it. It sent him flying back into one of the trees. "Ouch." He muttered as Cassie helped him up.
