Less than 24 hours ago I was in Nashville where my only weekend plans were going to be watching Vampire Diaries. However, now I'm in the forest somewhere in Georgia with Donny. I don't know how long we sat in the tree stand but it felt like ages. My attention span isn't very long and I have so much I want to talk about, but being quiet is the first rule when you're hunting. At one point I thought that maybe Donny was doing this to test me. If he was I think him kissing me just now was a sign I passed! If that is how each hunting trip goes I will sit in the tree stand all day because that was one of the best kisses I've ever had. Now as we are walking back to his Bronco all I want is for him to kiss me again. I mean I have to make this trip worth Maia being mad at me after all.

A bit on that so I didn't really tell her until I was almost in Georgia where I was and where I was headed. She might have gone on a bit of a lecture about how dangerous it could be to go somewhere by myself without telling anyone. From there the conversation shifted more towards Maia's favorite topic recently which is how guys all suck. She is taking her ex dating her ex best friend pretty hard. I blame her mother personally because now she's been on her case blaming Maia and has been points out everything she did wrong in their relationship. However I might have made things worse potentially because I basically said I didn't want to invite Donny to Nashville because of the way she's been acting. That was not taken well, as one could expect. Let's just say I might be going home to the silent treatment on Sunday. However, I want to make sure I'm being present while I'm with him, I have gotten to know him more and more over the past few weeks since we first met. There is something about him that makes me feel so comfortable when I'm with him. Like yesterday when I got to his house he met me out in the driveway and I couldn't get out of my Jeep fast enough to hug him. Then I got to meet his dog Max who I have fallen in love with already, and his family who are the sweetest people ever. I got to hang out with them and got to know them a bit which was super nice since I haven't made it home to Kentucky this semester to visit my parents.

As we reach his Bronco he opens the door for me to climb in the passenger seat and he watches me as I do before closing the door once I'm in. He put a couple things in the truck before coming and getting in himself. He starts the car and then looks over at me and smiles. "What," I try my hardest not to blush, but this man has some type of next-level effect on me because I can already feel my face start heating up. "So what was your favorite part of hunting?" I watch as he starts messing with his lips as I try and think of an answer and stop focusing on his lips. "It honestly was pretty relaxing I mean I know I didn't actually hunt, but it was nice just sitting there in nature. Nashville isn't quiet like it is out hear." He nods and I notice he keeps glancing at my mouth while I'm talking so I take this moment and I lean forward across the center console and kiss him. This kiss isn't like our first kiss this one has me hoping it never ends. I'm assuming that Donny was on the same page as I was because we only pull apart for long enough for me to climb across the console into his lap. Then we were back to kissing. After making out for a few minutes my stomach growling rather loudly kinda rained the moment, because as soon as he hears it Donny starts laughing. I cover my face with my hands and can't help but laugh as well. Once Donny's laughter subsides a bit he says, "Let's get you something to eat." I nod before I carefully crawl back across the console back to my seat and buckle up. Donny buckles up and then starts driving. He unlocks his phone and hands it to me, "Wanna DJ?" I happily take his phone and start playing music. Once I get a few different songs put in the queue I set his phone down on the console and rest my arm against the console. I feel Donny reach over and take hold of my hand in his. At this moment I am on cloud 9 I think. On our drive into town, we stop at a red light and I feel him look over at me. I keep looking forward acting like I didn't notice. I feel him lift our hands up so he could poke my cheek making me laugh. I look over at him as I laugh, "Yes?" "Just making sure you weren't zoned out thinking about your other boyfriends," he winks. "Wow, you're good. Can you read minds or something?" He chuckles, "Oh so I guessed right?" "Nope in fact you were completely wrong. I was thinking about what I'm going to get at First Watch." I see him smile slightly as he continues driving us to First Watch.
