When the team returns to the Manchester Mansion, to speak with the owners, Nolan introduces Avery as an intern, which causes her to raise her eyebrows. She figures he's just trying to keep a low profile.

Avery realizes, though, if any of these of people were fans of hers, Nolan's cover would be blown. Thinking about that, Avery wouldn't have minded seeing Nolan Wright try to weasel his way out of that one.

However, none of these people seem to have the slightest clue who she was nor what her true intentions were. Also she was curious as to what precisely Nolan and his team intended to say to these people.

Avery sits on the side, next to Lola and Lennox, while Nolan and Sid sit across from two people, a husband and wife, whom are the owners. The husband is the grandson of the man who's mother had passed away from childbirth.

"We actually caught some amazing stuff while we were investigating," Nolan is saying.

"Fantastic!" The man, Mr. Manchester, appears thrilled by Nolan's announcement.

"So we'll just go ahead and show you some of that now." Sid is clicking on several icons, pulling up the footage of the so called apparition. Avery finds herself leaning forward, wanting to look at it again.

Sid angles the laptop so that the Manchester's can get a good view. They watch as Avery asks the question if someone was there and then...the black mass appears, free floating around the room.

Mrs. Manchester's hand flies to her mouth, eyes wide. Mr. Manchester looks equally shocked.

"We caught this in the drawing room on the main level," Nolan tells them.

"That's incredible!" Mr. Manchester exclaims.

Sure it is, Avery thinks. Until you discover that it was nothing more than a stupid prank on the "intern."

"We also have some communication with a spirit that we're thinking was Mary Manchester," Sid pipes up. "Lola and I were getting some knocking sounds, upstairs in the master bedroom."

Sid turns up the volume on the laptop and plays the part where Lola was asking the spirit questions and the quick response they received.

"Wow!" Mr. Manchester says. "That's something else."

"It was certainly an incredible experience," Sid says.

"We always suspected that someone was hanging around here," Mrs. Manchester says. "But we never had any concrete proof."

"There's obviously a presence in the old manor house, for certain," Nolan says. "We obviously can't say for sure who it is, but there's a good chance that it's Mary Manchester."

"I'm not surprised.," Mr. Manchester says. "Considering how she passed. So tragic and sad."

Nolan nods in agreement. Avery finds herself studying him. She kinda likes how serious he is when he's presenting the evidence to these people. Even if he is a complete phony.

They stay a while longer before returning to Sahling. Avery is itching to speak with Nolan, privately. Luckily they're back in town within the hour. Avery immediately asks Nolan if they can speak privately.

"Of course," he replies, leading Avery back to his office. Once they're inside, Nolan closes the door and faces Avery.

"What's on your mind? Do you want to do an interview now?"
