The cousins reach the river's edge, their breath misting in the air. The moon, a pale orb in the sky, casts its silvery light on the water's surface, giving it an eerie glow.

Taekjoo and Leewon ventured out to catch up and enjoy the peaceful winter scenery.

Probably just Leewon tho, Taekjoo was cold even with layers of sweaters on.

As the two cousins strolled through the woods, the sound of their footsteps crunching in the snow echoed through the quiet air going towards the location of the river.

The world around them was a stunning winter wonderland, with snow-covered trees and sparkling icicles hanging from every branch.

They chatted idly to pass time as they walked, their breath puffing out in small clouds of steam, when Leewon suddenly stopped in his tracks.

"Do you hear that?" he whispered, his eyes widening. Taekjoo listened, straining to pick up any noise amidst the stillness.

He heard nothing.

"What? You scared now we're outside tch" Taekjoo walks past Leewon taking the lead as the other followed closely behind.

A faint, melodic sound, like the wind whistling through the trees, but more beautiful, more haunting made it's way to both Taekjoo's and Leewon's ears making them halt in their footsteps as they both stared at eachother.

The singing continues as it wasn't a voice of a female but males. It was so alluring

Leewon's hand reached for Taekjoo's arm, pulling him closer as they followed the source of the song, which was the direction they were originally headed.

The tune grew louder, enchanting and alluring, and as they drew closer, they could make out faint, voices crooning in a language neither understood.

"Are we hearing things?" Taekjoo asked, his heart thumping in his chest. Leewon shook his head, his expression grave

The cousins trudged through the snow, their steps slowing to match the pace of the song. It seemed to come from the edge of the forest, where the land dipped down toward the cold river.

The voices were angelic, a sense of seduction and temptation that lured the two men closer and closer.

As they crested a small hill, they spotted two figures jutting their heads out from the river.

Taekjoo pointed his flash towards the water seeing the figures.

They were two blond men in the freezing water singing?

"The fuck? Leewon i don't like this bro, let's go back" Taekjoo was freaked out low-key

"Really bro c'mon, it's just people swimming in the water, i mean we came here to swim in the cold water too didn't we?"

"No we didn't come to fucking swim, well I didn't. It's freaking minus something degrees out here, no where people swim in this freezing weather"
Taekjoo frowned

"Ah c'mon maybe they're Russians, yknow it get pretty cold in Russia and I'm sure they're used to it" Leewon tried to reason with taekjoo because he might actually leave if he gets more creeped out.

Taekjoo didn't answer Leewon instead he just stared at the men who suddenly stopped singing

Leewon sighed " okay, look" Leewon waved " Hey fellas you doing good over there!!" He yelled

One of the blonde man waved not really saying anything back.

He looked a bit smaller than the other one who just stared at them from the distance.
'Creepy' taekjoo thought.

Taekjoo slowly nodded, Leewon did have a point they weren't the only ones who knows about the river.
I mean it is a river and there were other houses close by.

The men in the water shared glances as they once again sang in unison, their voices weaving together to create a melody that seemed to penetrate the very marrow of Taekjoo's bones. Leewon, too, seemed mesmerized, his eyes wide with a strange kind of awe.

"What are they....I feel weird?" Taekjoo whispered, his mouth going dry.

The siren's voice changed, a single word slipping from her lips in a language the cousins didn't understand, but they both felt its meaning in the depths of their souls: "Join us."

Taekjoo's heart pounded like a drum he was scared, adrenaline coursing through his veins as the men song reached a feverish crescendo. The second the two men in the water fixed her gaze on them, their expression both hungry and predatory.

The cousins felt their feet move, drawn towards the riverbank, like their bodies were no longer their own. The cold air, once chilling, now seemed to whisper, urging them closer to the sirens.

Taekjoo tried to resist, his mind screaming at him to run, but his body refused to obey. He glanced at Leewon, his eyes wide with fear and longing. The cousins were now mere steps from the river, their breath fogging in the frosty air.

Turns out the two men in the water were sirens, his scales glistening under the moonlight held out a hand, his smile both seductive and cruel. "Just one touch," he crooned in a voice like velvet. "That's all it takes."

They both dropped their flashlights as they slowly advanced into the water from the shallow parts.

With a movement too fast for the human eye, the siren's hand shot out, latching onto Leewon's wrist. The second siren had done the same with Taekjoo, their icy grips tightening.

The cold water hitting their faces, This made the two snap back into reality,

A smirk curved one of the siren's lips as he pulled Taekjoo into the water without much struggle.

Leewon struggled go free his wrist from the iron grip of the man but to no avail he was then pulled into the water.
