CHAPTER 4

Leewon's Pov:

Leewon slowly regained consciousness, the world around him was hazy and disorienting. He blinked, trying to clear his vision, but all he could make out was a cave. The dim light from the moon shinning down in the open space above.

"Where am I" he looks around, his eyes landing on a laying figure further away from him.

He tiptoed toward where the person was and saw it was his cousin

"Taekjoo," he whispered, panic rising in his chest as he reached out to touch his cousin's shoulder.

Taekjoo was unresponsive, his chest barely rising and falling. Relief washed over Leewon when he noticed the faint pulse in his cousin's neck.

Leewon sighed, leaning back against the cool, damp wall of the cave. The sound of his own breath echoed in the chamber, the only noise besides Taekjoo's shallow breaths.

He couldn't believe what was happening, they had almost died

"Fuck i should've stayed at home, I should've listened to you Taekjoo fuck"
Leewon regretted ever deciding to go to the river and getting them into this mess

Just as Leewon started to feel the chill of the cave seeping into his bones, he heard the sound of movement in the water.
His heart began to race as a figure emerged from the shadows, its blue eyes glowing in the darkness.
The siren approached Leewon with its tail gliding on the hard rocks of the cave, its iridescent scales glistening in the faint light.

Leewon tried to stay calm, but the siren's presence sent a chill down his spine. It was larger and more intimidating than he remembered from the river, and its gaze was intense and unreadable.

"Who...what are you?" Leewon whispered, his voice barely audible, he was shaking in fear talking steps backwards until there was nowhere else to go.

The siren didn't respond, but instead moved closer, its eyes never leaving Leewon's face.
Just as Leewon thought he might scream, the siren spoke, its voice eerily calm.

"Μου ανήκεις άνθρωπε , eklektos" The man stretch forward his hand towards Leewon

"W-what did you say-i don't understand" Leewon pulled his hand towards his chest

The siren seeing this frowned tilted his head, being silent for a moment he spoke "Human,.... Mine, chosen"

Leewon furrowed his eyebrow
'human mine chosen?' He thought deeply in his panic as the situation he is right now isn't good. The monster might get impatient and kill him right now.

"M-me, I'm a human I'm yours? Chosen- wait Chosen by you" Leewon points at himself wide-eyed as the Siren nooded in confirmation.
Leewon thought he'd pass out but Taekjoo was right behind him, he had to watch over him somehow.

"Come" The siren stretched his hands forward once more.

Leewon looked back at Taekjoo, looking around he didn't see the other siren.

Swallowing he decided to take the siren's hand, he was still alive and if he disagrees he might die by being torn apart.

'fuck, please don't kill me'

Leewon placed his warm hand on the siren's cold hand.
"A-are we going back in the water"

The siren nooded making Leewon stiff, the siren was definitely gonna kill him

"Am i gonna die, i wanted to die after i find love y'know but a watery grave is soo not it" Leewon might as well talk shit now it might be his last time.

"You Die No" The merman spoke then grabbed Leewons face squishing is a bit " adelfí psychí , kill you i cannot"

Leewon nooded though he didn't understand anything except 'i cannot kill you' which he translated himself

" ade..lfi pey...shi?" Leewon repeated making the siren look at him then shook its head

" adelfí psychí " The siren let's go of his face as he waited for Leewon to speak

" adelfí ....psychí ? " He tries again and got a nod from the siren and was lifted from the ground, carried princess style towards the water not going under.

He watches as they swam furth away from the cave.

He hoped Taekjoo would be all right and since the siren has taken an interest in only him he's sure Taekjoo would find a way when he awakens.

Honestly Leewon was fucking scared

Leewon sighs as he was taken away but not under the water, he was freezing and his clothes soaked wasn't helping.

Leewon closed his eyes trying to calm his racing heart, his fingers cold as the sirens body and he was shivering a bit.

"Mommy I'm scared"
