With the moon's glow casting a pale light over the scene, Taekjoo and Leewon were now fully submerged in the icy water.

The sirens, still holding fast to their captives, began to move deeper into the river, pulling the cousins with them.

The siren who had taken Leewon went to a rock by the river as he wrapped his tail around the male covering his mouth with it's palms restricting Leewon's movement. He was huge

Meanwhile Taekjoo's part wasn't looking so good at all, The other siren took Taekjoo under the water going down then he suddenly lets Taekjoo free.

He tried swimming upwards but as he broke to the surface gasping for air, he was pulled under the water again this time a bit deeper.

Teakjoo thrashed around, the siren scratched his back with it's claws tasting Taekjoo's blood from the water, the scent of blood making it more allured towards the struggling human.

The siren wasn't done yet though, it once again let Taekjoo free watching the human struggle to get to the surface but this time before Taekjoo got near the surface, the siren pulled him down.

He was running out of oxygen but he's won't give up yet.

This thing was playing with him and he knew it, this time after the siren let him go. Compared to the siren, Taekjoo was slow unlike the siren that had a tail built for the water.

He got to the surface and was able to gasp for air.

Breathing was suddenly painful,

Taekjoo looked around searching for Leewon with the help of the dim light from the moon but his cousin was nowhere to be found nor the siren. Trying to swim away his legs were held by something under the water making him panic.

The siren emerged from the water holding both of Taekjoo's hands with one arm as it's blue eyes suddenly glowed in the darkness.

They heard a faint screech from another part of the river, the siren that held Taekjoo turned his head then also letting out a screech.

The sirens were communicating, Taekjoo didn't dare move, he couldn't anyways.

The blue eyed siren pulled Taekjoo towards himself, Taekjoo trying to resist but it was futile as he was taken under the water once more.

.

.

The siren swam away with Taekjoo. Taking him to where it's fellow siren was, he saw Leewon laying there conscious and miraculously not eaten yet.

They were both held by the sirens tails.

The difference between their situation right now was the siren who held Leewon wasn't hurting him but the one holding Taekjoo was hurting him with it's sharp scales on the tail.

The sirens blue eyes looking at both of their prey.
As they proceeded to touch the men, they heard faint voices in the distance.

Probably police men or a group of people and they were coming towards their direction.

Leewon ought to scream but was suddenly pulled into the water and so was Taekjoo.

"Huh did you hear that" one of the men patrolling shone his light towards the water but saw nothing.

"It's probably some fishes, let's go I wanna see my wife" his friend pats his shoulders and walks away.
The man looks towards the water once then following behind his group, who were also on patrol.

Taekjoo and Leewon thrashed against their captors, gasping and choking as the frigid water closed over their heads. But the sirens' grip was unyielding, and their power over the cousins seemed to grow stronger the deeper they plunged into the water.

As the sirens dragged their unwilling captives deeper into the depths of the river, Taekjoo and Leewon began to lose consciousness. Their lungs, burning from the lack of oxygen, begged for air, but the sirens' hold was relentless. Finally, in a last-ditch effort to save themselves,

Leewon resorted to the only weapon he had left, his human teeth.

Snapping his jaws shut, Leewon bit down on the siren's arms as hard as they could, but the siren's scales proved too tough, and his efforts were in vain.

Taekjoo and Leewon's struggles grew weaker, the sirens continued their relentless descent, the frigid water numbing their captives' limbs and sapping their will to resist.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the sirens reached the bottom of the river, their hold on the cousins unyielding. As the water enveloped them completely, Taekjoo and Leewon felt their hearts begin to slow, their consciousness fading.

The last thing Taekjoo saw was a flash of iridescent scales before everything went dark.

As the cousins slipped into unconsciousness, the sirens' voices continued to echo through the water, their song a funeral dirge that would carry their captives to their watery graves.
