We Will Do This Together

Chapter XXV

Then the Wen disciple stormed the Jiang clan. "Do it!" Shouted Jiang Fengmian. Arrow group and dagger group pop up all around the sword hall, they attack the Wen disciple all together.

When Yu Ziyuan see Wen Zhuliu, she went to fight him. "Madam Yu! Be careful of his hand! He can melt your core!" Shouted Lan Xichen. Hearing this from Lan Xichen, Jiang Fengmian went to help his wife.

"Sheng! Can you aim your poison needle at Wen Zhuliu before he melt both Jiang Fengmian and Yu Ziyuan core?!" Shouted Lan Xichen while fighting off the Wen disciple.

"I can try! I don't know who I will hit!" Shouted back Lan Sheng. " I can help with that!" Come Jiang Cheng.

"Sheng! On top of the roof!" Lan Sheng nodded his head, he jump on the roof so that he can aimed his poison needle at Wen Zhuliu. Lan Sheng watch as Jiang Cheng take down the Wen clan while protecting his Shidi and Shimei from the Wen disciple.

Lan Sheng see how Jiang Cheng is getting all of the Wen and Jiang disciple away from the fight between Jiang Fengmian, Yu Ziyuan and Wen Zhuliu.

Jiang Fengmian fight side by side next to his wife. He can tell that his wife isn't concentrating on fighting Wen Zhuliu. She isn't thinking at all. She just slash here and there, hit here and there at Wen Zhuliu who is dodging all of her attack.

As for him, he block Wen Zhuliu hand from touching his wife core. Jiang Fengmian didn't think for himself, he see Wen Zhuliu glowing red hand is getting close to his core. That is until a black ball of dark mist push Wen Zhuliu very hard away from Jiang Fengmian.

Lan Sheng took this chance to throw his poison needle toward Wen Zhuliu. He send many toward Wen Zhuliu, he couldn't dodge any of them since a dark mist is holding both his arm and leg. Many needles struck Wen Zhuliu straight into his chest, arm and leg.

Wen Zhuliu body drop to the ground with a thump. When the dark mist let go of his dead body.

Lan Wangji look up to where the dark mist flow too, "Wei Ying," Wei Wuxian smile down at Lan Wangji. 'Still my Wei Ying.' Wei Wuxian went down to where Lan Wangji is at. "Are you okay now? Can you control it?" Lan Wangji asked.

"Yeah. I merge my core and the resentment energy together." (Wei Wuxian)

"That great!" Wei Wuxian smile at this, "let's get this battle over with. Have you seen We Chao?" Wei Wuxian asked as the two of them went back to fight the Wen disciple.

"A-Xian! Wangji!" The two look up on the roof top, "Wen Chao and that women just left! Go after them!" Shouted Lan Sheng. "That way!" Lan Sheng point to his right. The two nodded their head, they went after Wen Chao and Wang Lingjiao.

"A-Xian! Wangji! Be careful!" Shouted Lan Xichen.

"Wei Ying can you do something! We need to get ahead of Wen Chao!" Lan Wangji turn his head to see Wei Wuxian smirking at him, "As you wish my Lan Wangji," in a poof of smoke the two disappear, they soon reappear in the distance a little bit far from Wen Chao.

When Wen Chao is close enough, Wei Wuxian jump up high and kick both Wen Chao and Wang Lingjiao off the horse. The two stumble on the ground once they got knock off of the horse. "Wei Wuxian!" Wen Chao shouted as he stand back up.

"You deserve that. Are you up for a fight Wen Chao or are you too scare to fight a fight by yourself?" Wei Wuxian unsheathed Suibian, "Here Lan Zhan," he threw the scabbard to Lan Wangji who is standing on the sideline to observe the fight.

"Fine!" Wen Chao take out his sword, he ran toward Wei Wuxian like he want to kill him. Wei Wuxian duck low when Wen Chao want to stab him, he kicked Wen Chao feet to make him loose balance. When Chao fall down to the ground with a thud, he got back up to attack Wei Wuxian only to have Wei Wuxian kicking Wen Chao in his stomach.

And this sent Wen Chao flying backward as he hit the tree on the other side. Wang Lingjiao takes out a dagger from behind her back.

She take this chance to stab Wei Wuxian from behind him. Lan Wangji who saw this jump right in front of her, grab her hand and twisted her wrist.

"No one can hurt Wei Ying, as long as I am here no one can touch him," Before Lan Wangji can slap Wang Lingjiao, Wei Wuxian turn around, take Lan Wangji by his waist and jump up.

Lan Wangji look down to see Wen Chao sword went straight through Wang Lingjiao stomach.

"Lan Wangji, that was a close one," Lan Wangji turn his head to give Wei Wuxian a small smile. When the two landed back on the ground, Wen Chao charged at Wei Wuxian again but this time

Lan Wangji know that Wei Wuxian is messing with Wen Chao, so he did just one thing. With a slash from Bichen, a big slash appear on Wen Chao chest. Blood came out from Wen Chao chest as he fall down to the ground.

"I wasn't done messing with him, Lan Wangji," Lan Wangji sigh, he turn around to look at Wei Wuxian. "Wei Ying, we need to get back to help the Jiang clan. Don't forget that Xiong Zhan and Sheng is there as well."

"Fine," Wei Wuxian pouted. 

Wei Wuxian put on a smile as he hooked his arm around Lan Wangji arm. "Did you enjoy watching me mess with Wen Chao? His cultivation is so low, he can get kill easily."

"That is why he have Wen Zhuliu by his side to protect him."

"Such a weak heir of the Wen clan."  As the two walk back to the Jiang clan to help out Lan Wangji asked Wei Wuxian, "Wei Ying?"

"Mhmm."

"When you cultivated resentment energy, did you feel alone like no one will trust you because you take the dark path?"

Wei Wuxian tighten his grip on Lan Wangji arm, "I felt very lonely, Lan Zhan. I want someone to be there for me, tell me that everything will be alright and that they will stay by my side no matter what."

"Don't worry this time...you're not alone anymore."

"Mhmm. Stay with me...Lan Zhan."

"I will always stay with you...Wei Ying."
