We Will Do This Together

Chapter XXXVII

The next morning Wei Wuxian lay awake as he run his hand up and down Lan Wangji hair, "Wei Ying?" Come Lan Wangji soft voice.

"Mhm?" Was all Wei Wuxian said to let Lan Wangji know that he is listen to him. "Did Nie Huaisang really kill Jin Guangyao?"

"Mn."

"What about Jin Zixun? Did you kill him as well?"

"Mn."

"What about the o-" Wei Wuxian bend down to kiss Lan Wangji, 'stop talking about them, they are the reason why you got hurt?' He pull back to look at Lan Wangji, "Hush, I don't want you to talk about them."

"Okay," Lan Wangji snuggled closer to Wei Wuxian. "Lan Zhan?"

"Mhmm?"

"I need to go see what Chenqing have done to Jin Guangshan and Su She. Come, let me help you into the bath first then I will leave." This got Lan Wangji to sit up, "What?" Wei Wuxian got up as well.

He put his hand on Lan Wangji cheek, "I will come back, I promise."

"You promise?"

"Mn. Let's get you over to the tube," Wei Wuxian got up first as he wrapped his clothes around him. He take the blanket as he wrapped it around Lan Wangji. He scooped Lan Wangji into his arm as he carried Lan Wangji over to the tube.

He put Lan Wangji into the water while unwrapped the blanket from Lan Wangji body. "Lan Zhan take your time, don't get your injury soak okay?" Lan Wangji nodded his head. Wei Wuxian walk away from there to go put his clothes back on.

'Wei Wuxian Wei Wuxian, you end up making Lan Wangji your,' "Lan Zhan, I'm heading to Caiyi town for a little bit. I will be back in second okay? I won't be gone long." Before he can't leave he hear Lan Wangji saying, "Can't I go with you?"

Wei Wuxian sigh, "I won't be long Lan Zhan, just wait," with that Wei Wuxian vanish from there. 'Is a surprise for you...my dear Lan Zhan,' Wei Wuxian walk here and there around Caiyi town until he found an owner that sell ring and bracelet.

"Gongzi, is there one that you like?" The owner asked while Wei Wuxian look at all of the ring in front of him. Wei Wuxian end up finding the perfect one, he see a ring with blue sky color like the Lan clan, and the ring also have white cloud all around it.

"I will take this one," Wei Wuxian pay the owner as he put the ring into a bluish box. "Thank you gongzi," the owner handed the package to Wei Wuxian, "thank you owner." 'Lan Zhan will sure love it.'

When Wei Wuxian return back to the Jingshi he see that Lan Wangji is waiting for him. "Oi Lan Zhan!" Lan Wangji look up to see Wei Wuxian walking toward him. Lan Wangji suddenly rush toward Wei Wuxian and flung himself onto Wei Wuxian.

Wei Wuxian catch Lan Wangji in his arm as he stop themselves from falling down to the ground, "What's wrong Lan Zhan? I did said that I won't take long didn't I?" Lan Wangji didn't said anything, he just want to hold Wei Wuxian in his arm.

Wei Wuxian scooped Lan Wangji into his arm, "Wei Ying!" Shouted a surprise Lan Wangji. "Well you didn't answer me so this is the only way to get your reaction. Now how about it Lan Wangji?"

"Mn."

Wei Wuxian grinned at this, "there something I want to give you, you can open it when I am gone okay?"

"What is it?" Asked a very curious Lan Wangji. *sigh* "just wait and see," when the two of them are inside the house, Wei Wuxian put Lan Wangji down on the floor. "Here," Wei Wuxian take out a light blue bag, he handed it too Lan Wangji.

"Then I will be going now," Wei Wuxian gave Lan Wangji a kiss on his forehead. With that Wei a Wuxian vanish from there leaving Lan Wangji to look at the bag in his hand.

He decide to open the bag, then take out a square shape box, "A box?" Lan Wangji decide to open it. His eye lite up to see a blue sky ring with cloud all around it, "Is a ring," he put it on his ring finger.

"I will keep it safe, Wei Ying."

Burial mound

When Wei Wuxian arrive at the burial mound, he see Chenqing sitting outside in front of the big closing door. "Chenqing?" Chenqing didn't look up at Wei Wuxian, "Chenqing?" He walk over to where Chenqing is at as he put his hand on top of Chenqing head.

"Chenqing, what happen?" Asked Wei Wuxian.

"Master, I kill them."

"Ah, is that why your scare that I will yell at you?" Chenqing nodded his head. "They deserve to die." Wei Wuxian take out the yin Hufu from inside of him, "let's go throw this into the blood pool. This way no one will get their hand on it."

The two walk into the demon cave, they went to where the blood pool is at and then Wei Wuxian threw the yin Hufu into the blood pool. The two watch as the Yin Hufu sink deeper and deeper and deeper until it disappears from their eye.

"When we leave from here, can you make sure that no can enter into the burial mound?" Chenqing nodded his head. "alright let's go," when the two left from there Chenqing have on a grin, with a snap of his finger the who burial mound went kaboom.

*Sigh* "Chenqing, I told you to make sure no one can enter into the burial mound. You don't have to blow it up."

"But master this way no one will enter into the burial mound to seek out the Yin Hufu." Wei Wuxian shake his head at this, "alright let's head back to cloud Recesse, I need to go find Shushu and Song. Hopefully, Xue Yang didn't get to them yet."

"Master, why don't I go find them for you? I will let you know where to met us," Wei Wuxian stop in his track, he turn around to look at Chenqing, "Chenqing, I know that you have done a lot for me already. You don't have to do this, you know."

"I don't mind, I'll be going now!" He vanish from there to go in search for Song Lan and Xiao Xingchen.

"I hope Lan Zhan will come with me. I don't want to be far away from him,' with that Wei Wuxian also vanish from there to head back to Cloud Recesse.
