When Sera came back the house was dark. She was quick to move in and dispose her things in her cupboard. Setting up Riel cage in the corner she bent down and put her back in when the she tried to get back on her shoulder. "Stay here. Ok. I will be back soon, Riel." She would have liked to go in as well but she still had some business to do. She moved her footstep soundless from years of practice of stealing food when she hadn't eaten anything in days. She moved towards the kitchen to find her – Petunia sitting in the dining hall. She moved swiftly, she ignored the stiffening of her aunt shoulder at her sudden appearance. Instead she focused on making tea.

She placed the cup in front of her and settled in the chair right across her with her own cup. There was a moment of silence. "Well I suppose the apple didn't fall far from the tree" and Petunia stiffened slightly at the venomous tone.

"What are you talking about girl?" Petunia snapped and Sera grinned all sharp teeth and Petunia only seemed to stiffen more if possible "Congratulations Ms. Dursley from now on you don't have a niece" she spoke cheerfully eyes cold and Petunia eyed her with wariness that pleased her. The woman had tormented her, her whole life and after the shit show today she didn't have a wish to stay here any longer.

"Speak plainly girl" Petunia snapped and well that tone simply won't do now would it. She flickered her wrist and her wand fell in her hand. She was still smiling as she met Petunia fear filled eyes "I wouldn't talk like that if I were you aunt" there was an underlying threat in her tone and Petunia seems to get that as well. "You don't know how to use that thing?"

Seraphina pouted cutely "True but don't worry aunt I will study really hard to learn how and it would be a shame if accidents were to happen right?"

"Are you threatening me, girl" Sera was glad the horse face woman finally got to the point. Oh well better late than never.

She battered her eye lashes tearing her eyes up slightly "I would never hurt someone like that Aunty."

It seemed to only frustrate the woman in front of her "Drop the act. I know exactly the kind of conniving little demon you are. Just like her. I should have never taken you in-"

"Good" Sera cut her off leaning forward to rest her chin on her palm. Petunia leaned back as if trying to put as much distance between them as possible. "It seems we are on the same page than" she continued looking into her aunts eye "You see darling aunt, I have neither an interest nor any ... wish to join your pathetic family in any way" the woman bristled in front of her but Sera ignored her "and I am pretty sure you don't want me to as well so here is what you are going to do, you are going to let me stay here for five days after Hogwarts ends, and five days before it starts, to prevent anyone looking too deep into the situation and for the rest of the year I won't darken your door"

"Only ten days a year?" Petunia questioned as she contemplated and Sera nodded with a serene smile "of course" Petunia mulled it over as Sera sipped her tea eyeing her over the brim of her cup. She nodded and Seraphina smiled leaning over the table to put her hand on top of her aunts "I am glad that we have an understanding aunt"

Petunia pulled her hand back as if burned standing up quickly, her seat slammed into the wooden flooring as she hastily put some distance between them. Sera watched her go with a smile. As soon as the woman was out she dropped her smile, her shoulder slumping in slight relief. Just ten days in a year she could do this.

The 1st of September arrived quicker that Sera expected. She had spent most of her time buried in text books devouring books after books. It was easy to get lost in it. There were lots of books from cultures and tradition to politics. It was refreshing to learn how different it was from muggle world and personally Sera thought that it was much better. She learned everything she could. She refused to appear mediocre. Not when being any less could get her killed especially when like Albus Dumbledore had his eyes set on her.
