The last days of April passed peacefully after the duel, with Angelo gaining good popularity with the title of "Prodigy of Duels.", having the wit and ability to disarm Morwenna when many could not.
Even being more reserved, Angelo was enjoying this popularity a little, at least this way he gained a little respect from the other students, and he knew that this was good for him.
On April 27th, walking through the corridors with Morwenna and Tonks, at night, close to having to return to the common rooms, Angelo had already noticed and commented that he didn't see Betty on the class after lunch, and thought that he would find her in the common room.
But when he got there, what he saw was just a few students around the coffee table in their living room, when they noticed Angelo's presence, one of his classmates came close.
"A-Angelo..." The boy called Alfred Williams approached, with what appeared to be a letter in hand, he was nervous.
"What's wrong Alfred? Did something happen?" Angelo asks worriedly, looking at the others around him.
"Someone... left this note here." He says handing it to Angelo, who reads the content.
"Angelo Sangueevar, I come through this letter to inform you that my colleague Betty Black was taken directly to the black forest, come alone to rescue her, calling the teachers will result in her death. Be warned."
Angelo reads the note and feels an intense cold run down his spine, his friend was kidnapped, but how? How did no one notice? Several questions run through Angelo's mind but are soon calmed.
"The curious part Angelo... is that she readed that note." Another student comments, and he looks confused.
"Wait, what do you mean?" Angelo asks.
"Yeah, the note was here at least after lunch, and she readed it, i know because I was here, whoever wrote this just wanted to lure you into some trap." Angus MacLeod says in his Scottish accent.
"Okay, where is she now?" Angelo asks, but none of them seem to answer, so he realizes that maybe she really is in danger and runs out of the common room, heading to the boys' bathroom to use the portkey.
While this was happening, in the forbidden forest, it was possible to hear a heated argument between two girls, one of them being Betty.

"I can't believe you had an idea like this, just when I thought you had the slightest bit of notion in your head." She says irritated, looking furious at Merula, but she still felt scared.
"You weren't really supposed to come here, you idiot, it was just Angelo who was supposed to come." Merula says irritated, they both looked in the same direction.
