"Devon?" Angelo repeats the name confusedly, not understanding if it's a mistake.

"That's right, I've been curious about your name appearing in the genealogical cemetery for a while now," Eris says, with a smiling face.

"W-What does it mean, mom? Do I have a brother?" Angelo asks confused.

"No, my dear... It's just that before you were born, I really wanted to name you Devon, but your father insisted on Angelo, saying that just like me, you were an angel in his life." Moira explains, and Eris looks at Angelo suspiciously.

"Now tell me, what did you and your mother... come here for?" Eris asks, floating around the room.

"Angelo needs to know the blood arts." Moira says, not letting Angelo explain, and Eris looks at him suspiciously.

"And why in hell would he need to learn that?" She asks, this time it would be, as if it were an irrational request.

"I want revenge on my father's killer." Angelo says, Eris notices his look, pure hatred, but still with slight uncertainty.

"Hm... Angelo, right? Do you mind leaving your necklace on this dresser? And talk to me in private?" Eris asks, leaving Angelo confused, he didn't see, but Eris did, Moira was shocked.

"Why? I don't trust you to be alone with my son, of all the family, you're the one I trust the least." Moira says irritably, in a tone that Angelo has never heard his mother use.

"HAH, so the sentiment is reciprocal, my great-great-granddaughter." Eris says smiling.

"Wait, what? how old are you?" Angelo asked curiously.

"I must be 400 years old, it's hard to know when there's only a red moon to be based on, so basically I don't know the exact years." She says looking out the window.

"It's just... Even though you're a ghost, you don't even look a little older than me." Angelo comments.

"I died when I was 19, and I was condemned to haunt this damn mansion..." Eris says irritated.

"... Anyway, Angelo, come on, I need to tell you something, and it's much better that your mother doesn't know what is." Eris says, hoping Angelo will obey her.

"No, what if you want to hurt him? Or possess him?" Moira asks, still irritated.

"If I wanted to hurt him, I would break that chandelier over him, and you know that I, as a ghost, can't interact with him, much less possess..." Eris says, smiling.

"... And it's not like you can do anything to protect him, being just a Horcrux." Eris says and Angelo looks at her confused.

"Horcrux?" Angelo asks.

"Oops... Sorry Moira, i might have revealed one of your little secrets?" Eris asks mockingly.

"I-it's hard to explain, son." Moira says, thinking about how she would say it.

"Then let me do it, it's a magic that takes a piece of the soul and stores it in an object, and judging by the horrible energy of this necklace, she put it there." Eris explains with a still evil smile.

"W-what do you mean? I had this necklace before I saw her skeleton, it was only with her tooth that I started to hear her voice." Angelo comments confused.

"You bet, she could choose any object, but decide to go beyond the macabre and curse her own corpse." Eris says laughing slightly, and Moira gets even more irritated.

"Leave us alone, Eris." She demands.

"The one who has to decide here, is the boy." She says smiling.
