Merula, surprising Angelo, stands behind him, as if she were shy, compared to her attitude before, this was new, mostly because it's Merula, until Timothy opens the door with a huge smile, a man in casual but still stylish clothes, with a nice mustache.

"Son!!" He shouts happily and hugs him contentedly, and Angelo hugs him back.

"Father!!" Angelo shouts happily too, he doesn't see but Merula was smiling at this scene, so Timothy looks at the figure behind Angelo.

"And you might be?" He asks curiously, but still with his friendly smile.

"Sorry dad, I... forgot to tell you I would bring company." He says smiling uncomfortably.

"No problem, son, I saw how happy you were last time, so I figured you'd bring another one... I would guess you might be... Betty Black?" Timothy asks sympathetically, and Merula makes a face like she's disgusted or has a stomach ache.

"N-not really...that's Merula Snyde, dad." Angelo says, and Timothy's expression goes from friendly to serious.

"A p-pleasure...sir." Merula says even more shyly, seeing that Timothy didn't seem to react very well to knowing her name.

"Are you the girl who's been picking on my son?" Timothy asks seriously, and she didn't know how to respond.

"We are starting to gotten along, dad, so much so that I asked her to spend Christmas with us." Angelo says, and Timothy then smiles.

"I know son, I just wanted to play with her a bit" He says laughing a little.

"You're welcome here Merula, I'm so happy to hear you two are getting along well." Timothy says sympathetically, which calms Merula down.

"Come Merula, I'll show you your room." He says going up the stairs, and she looks at Timothy, as if she were asking permission with her eyes, which Timothy just nods in consent.

She goes up and sees her guest room, and then sits down on the bed to rest her legs, feeling that it was very soft, and then notices that the room is very tied up and pretty cozy too.

"I like here... it's calm, cozy." She says, her voice sounding slightly troubled as she says it.

"Are you okay?" Angelo asks, taking a chair and sitting in front of Merula, she hesitates, but realizes that Angelo was the only one at the moment she could talk to more sincerely.

"It's good here, it's a calm place, without... without people threatening you." She says, her voice weak with sadness.

"What? What do you mean threatening?" He asks worried about her.

"At this point you know that my parents were death eaters, but when they were arrested I was alone in my own house, with my aunt coming to take care of me once a week..." She says, each time her voice saddens even more.

"... And since they ruined several lives being death eaters, when they were arrested... There was only one 10 years old girl left alone, who has to hear daily attacks and threats because of that, and is still afraid to leave her own house because she's afraid of dying, because of what her parents did." She finishes, with her voice shaking now, it seems like she's going to cry at any second, but she doesn't.

Angelo sits next to her, and carefully approaches to hug her, waiting for her to refuse or push him, but that doesn't happen, in fact she approaches closer and hugs him back, laying her head on his chest.
