The Palace of the Earth Spirits is and has always been quiet. The only time it has noise heard in it is when morning arrives. There is no sunlight that reaches the so-called "palace", the only reason they know it is morning it is when their alarms go off.

"Uhmf.. Come on now, a little bit more..." mumbled a boy with green hair and a hat on, ready for something.
That is Koishou Komeiji, the younger brother of Satoru Komeiji. He is a youkai, specifically a satori who closed their third eye.
*Koishou's alarm goes off at exactly 3:30 AM. He immediately turns it off.*
Koishou then immediately goes out his room, gently closing his door.
Koishou goes down the stairs, but..
*creak*
"Oh shoot!", Koishou says to himself. The stair creaked as he stepped on it. He looks at his surroundings, looking down and up.
After a few seconds, Koishou then manages to go down, without being caught.
He then warmly smiles as he gets closer to the door.
Koishou unlocks the door, and then goes out the Palace of the Earth Spirits.
Out of excitement, Koishou forgets to lock the door, and give Satoru a note that he's going out.
