Jackie's POV
I put the envolopes in my backpack and walk to my bus stop. Me, Adam, and alesa had planned my 14th birthday. Amber, Xander, oliver, and Bella are all coming and the rest of TC will also. I get onto the bus and sit by Xander.
"Hey Xander!" I say pulling out an envolope.
"I was hoping you could make it over to my house this weekend. Oliver, Bella, and Amber will be there too." I say handing it to him.
"Oh, thanks!" He says putting it in his bag. During school I give the inventations to my other friends. I am so excited to have my first birthday party in eight years!
Time skip to the party.
I finish setting up the cupcakes when Adam opens the door. The rest of the guys come in. Tyler, Mitch, Jerome, Ashley, and Jess. I admire the beautiful chocolate cupcakes with black frosting and dark blue edible sparkles. (They are a thing. I've had them)
I run upstairs and get changed into my bathing suit. (Let's just say, she learned to swim. K?)
Amber, oliver, Xander, and Bella come outside and jump into the pool. I follow. We swim around for a little while. We eat chips, cupcakes, ice cream, drink soda. Just like any other party. I get out of the pool and we open up presents. Amber hands me one that she got for me. I untie the bow around the neatly wrapped present and open the box. I little stuffed umbreon lies in a bunch of black and blue tissue paper.
Its perfect.
I open the rest of the presents. I get tons of mine craft and Pokémon things. I'm so happy to be part of this family.
Time skip that night
I walk downstairs after putting away my presents I got. Alesa is taking down streamers and Adam is washing dishes. I start grabbing the empty soda cans and throw them in the recycling. Soon enough, the house is clean. I go up stairs to play some minecraft and go to bed. Adam and alesa walk into my room and sit next to me on my bed.
"Jackie. We have some bad news." Adam says.
Oh no.
"What?" I ask.
"Alesa's job is making up move to Washington in two months. I'm so sorry." He says.
"What!? No! What about my friends! Our house! Our perfect life!" I yell with tears in my eyes.
"Jackie, its OK. We do have some good news." Alesa says.
"I'm pregnant." She continues happily.
I wipe the tears from my face.
"Really?" I say. I'm happy, of course, but I don't went to move.
Adam sets his hand on my shoulder.
"Itll be OK, Jackie. I promise." He says. They walk out of the room.
It'll never be OK.
I know I posted a chapter like ten minutes ago but its 12:07. Its a new day! I'll post one tomorrow. -Kitten
