It's a nice morning. The birds are singing in the early light, and Tenya is already dressed and ready to go. And so, as he stands out on the newly installed balcony to his room, watching as a pile of snow rises and falls, he takes great satisfaction at turning off his four AM alarm.
"Hello everyone, and happy Monday morning! We got a nice breeze coming in from the south at about three miles per hour. Today is a balmy 75 degrees, which is perfect for you reptiles. And hey, it seems like the perfect day to relax and sleep in....."
He turns down to look at the snow pile and smiles in a creepy yet angry sort of way.
"Or simply, work off THAT FAT THAT'S HANGING OUT OF THE SNOW!"
Then he took out an airhorn while shouting, "Wake up, Mochi!"
With a loud toot of the device, the snow proceeded to burst into a mess of curls. Powdered snow covered Yukino's Gang Orca themed pajamas, as long black curls fell over his eyes. He looked up at Tenya before letting out a mix between a snarl and a groan.
"Tenya! What have I told you about doing that?!" Yukino shouted.
Tenya made the classic chopping motion with is arm as he said, "No time to complain! Time to get some last minute training in before the UA Entrance Exam!"
"....Tenya it's 4 in the morning."
The bastard had the audacity to just smile it off.
"Alright, fine, I'm up."

"Tenya, this is a bad idea. And, not gonna lie to you, I'd prefer not to have a repeat of two years ago." Yukino stated.
In case you were wondering, two years ago, the two had attempted to solve the Iida bloodlines greatest weakness: turning. The plan was for Yukino to freeze the ground, and then for Tenya to attempt to stop. That experiment ended with Tenya having a broken arm and Katsumi and Tensei begging them never to try this again.
"It'll be fine! Besides, I've been working on that. Wink!"
"....Just for that, I'm going to proceed with this plan, only so you can go flying."
And that was how Tenya ended up halfway through a window. Luckily, the window was open. Unluckily, Katsumi was cooking at the time. She then gave them both a stern reminder that they still had to attend the entrance exam.

Yukino looked up at the tall white building, anxiety bubbling in his stomach. Was it too late to back out? It's never too late to back out, right?
"Onward, Yukino! Destiny awaits!" Iida cheered, pulling the curly haired teen by the arm.
Swallowing all of his doubts and worries, Yukino pressed on into UA's walls. Once they found a seat, a large stage lit up, followed by a bunch of muttering from the students around them.
"Hey there little listeners! Can I get "HEY!" from you all?!", a loud, blonde man yelled.
Silence.
"Okay then! Allow me to tell you about the physical part of the exam!"
As the man (who Yukino knew as Present Mic) continued on, Yukino began to space out. Was he really doing this? I mean, yeah, he and Iida had sworn an oath to become heroes together, but was that what he really wanted? And if he did go through with this, he ran the risk of being discovered by them. Then again, Iida was bound to drop kick anyone who even tried to kidnap him.
A shake from the Engine quirk user quickly snapped Yukino out of his daze while saying, "It's time for the physical part of the exam!"
As students bunched together to get to the start of the line, Yukino kept his eyes on the teen he knew as an older brother.
"ARE YOU READY LISTNERS?! GET SET-"
"Hey, plus ultra, right?" Iida said, holding out his fist.
Yukino stared at it for a short amount of time, before smiling and returning the gesture.
"GO!"
"Plus ultra!", he said, right before he used Deep Freeze to spring himself into the air.
The moment he did, ice locked everyone's feet in place, keeping them from moving forwards. Once Yukino touched down, he held out his palm and allowed ice to flood from it. A 3-pointer layer frozen, just before getting shattered. Yukino shot his gaze to a 1-pointer and froze it as well, but not before ripping off its arm to use as a weapon. He kept up this same strategy, making sure to not freeze other people in the process. The ground rumbled intensely as a large shadow loomed over him.
"THAT'S THE ZERO POINTER?!", someone yelled.
Yukino could understand their reaction. No wonder it was labeled as an obstacle! It's too big to take on! Or at least it was, right before a boy with curly green hair took it out with one attack. Though, it appeared he broke his arm in the process. Shortly after, the bell rang, meaning that the exam was over.

Tensei followed Riku's movements as he paced around the kitchen, occasionally looking at the envelope sitting on the table. Tenya had already opened his, so now they were just waiting on Riku. Though, that maybe easier said than done, seeing as how he was pacing a line into the floor.
"Y'know, it's not gonna open itself." Tensei stated, taking a sip from his coffee.
Keikiko took one look, saw what was happening, and left to go get Tenya. Mostly because he was probably the only one who was going to convince the ice child.
"What if I failed? Me and Tenya worked so hard to get here! Oh my god. I'm going to be the only Iida in history to not go to UA. Tensei! Where are your shovels Tensei?!"
Tenya walked in to hear Riku yell at the top of his lungs, "BURY ME WITH MY OWN SHAME TENSEI!"
Tenya shook his head before saying, "You haven't even opened it yet."
Riku's eyes turned comically watery as he said, "But what if I failed?!"
Tenya grabbed his shoulders and braced himself. Time to use the old Iida family charm!
"Okay look," Tenya began, grabbing the teen's shoulders.
He then, just as his parents came downstairs, said in the most monotone voice ever, "If you did fail, I'll shoot you with rubber bullets."
Tensei began wheezing and crying.
Keikiko joined him.
Katsumi pinched the bridge of her nose while muttering, "Why didn't I stop at one?"
Though, despite this, it seemed to do the trick as Riku took a deep breath, and ripped open the envelope. A small disk popped out, followed by a projection of All Might himself.
"Hello, young Yukino! I AM HERE- to tell you that you passed the exam!", the number one hero said.
Yukino tuned out the rest of the message. He'd done it. He'd taken the first step to becoming a hero. The rest of the night was followed by celebrations, good food, and Riku making it snow indoors from excitement.
