Yukino startled awake.

It's been years since he's thought of that woman. Years since he'd even seen her. Why the hell was he thinking about her now?

"Oh good. You're awake." A voice said.

Yukino turned to his left to see the school's resident medic smiling at him.

"A- ah! Recovery Girl! I apologize if I caused you any trouble." Yukino stated sheepishly.

The old woman waved him off before saying, "You should be more worried about yourself. You've been unconscious for nearly a day. You went into a quirk related shock from overusing Deep Freeze."

Yukino grimaced at that information. Tenya was going to give him the mother of all lectures. That is, if his mother didn't get to him first.

Recovery Girl handed him a few gummies before saying, "I'll inform Mr. Aizawa that you're awake. In the meantime, why don't you head home dear?"

"The Sports Festival?" Yukino asked.

Kirishima smiled boldly as the two walked through the shopping center. The red head had suggested it as a way to hangout and relax after the USJ. Yukino wouldn't admit it, but it was helping.

"Yeah! Mr. Aizawa wants us to be as prepared as possible for it!" Kirishima said, eyeing a set of weights.

Yukino glanced at him sheepishly before saying, "Yeah, maybe I should check with Aizawa about skipping it."

Yukino walked up ahead, not seeming to notice his friend had gone silent. When he did turn around to look at the Hardening quirk user, the teen's jaw had dropped.

"WHAT?!" Kirishima yelled.

A few people turned to stare at them, and Yukino had to remember that he wasn't related to Present Mic.

"Dude, are you serious?! Why?!", the red haired teen questioned.

Yukino had to resist groaning as he rolled his eyes.

"This is our chance to hit it BIG! All kinds of Pros will be watching us!" Kirishima argued.

Yukino began looking at a few candles while saying, "I just don't think it's a good idea."

"Yukino, I beg of you to explain."

The Deep Freeze user grimaced before saying, "You heard what happened at the USJ. I went berserk and almost killed that villain with the hand kink! Also....."

Yukino trailed off, prompting for his friend to say, "Also....? What?"

Yukino went silent. He knows he should be more ecstatic about this, but his quirk is still unstable. He almost assaulted Snipe at the USJ, and had to get hit by the full force of Midnight's quirk in order to calm down. And that's not even including the other reasons.

"Hello? Earth to Yuki-bro?" Kirishima stated.

Yukino snapped back to reality before saying, "Look, to put it simply, there are people that I would prefer to not know I'm alive. Can we please just drop it?"

Kirishima wasn't a fool by any regards. He knew perfectly well when someone was lying, and even more so if they were hiding something. Yukino was doing both. He followed behind him silently as he stewed in thought. How could he convince Yukino to go to the Sports Festival?

....Bingo. If it would work on Bakugo, it was bound to work on him.

"Yeah, you're right. After all, Todoroki would probably just beat you to it."

Yukino froze in his tracks. Kirishima smirked as he slowly turned to face him. Hook, line and sinker.

"I mean, I don't blame you for being scared. That Todoroki guy is scary, not to mention Bakugo!" Kirishima teased, making sure to keep a blank expression.

Now, the Iida family is known as being fast due to their quirks. However, if you paid attention to the forums for Ingenium, you would know that they are also heavily competitive. So it comes off as no surprise that Yukino folds almost instantly.

".....If someone gets frostbite, I blame you.", he said sternly.

Kirishima bellowed out a laugh as he playfully punched Yukino's shoulder.

"There we go! Now isn't that manly?", the former asked.

Yukino rolled his eyes playfully at that. Fine, but if he was gonna do this, it was gonna be with style.

Nezu smiled curiously as he played a video on his laptop. Not much could be gathered off of the villains that attacked his students, but a few of the cameras managed to remain intact. Granted he needed permission from Thirteen to get access to it, but it's a good thing the two were on such good terms. Though, this particular clip had him intrigued.

"You sure? Because your skills certainly resemble Kori Izado."

"Hey, tell me something Izado, is it true that you once froze a dozen villains at once?"

Nezu smirked at the information presented to him.

"So, who exactly are you Riku Yukino?", the rat- bear- Chimera asked himself.

At that moment, a subtle knock sounded at his door. He smirked to himself as he closed the device.

"You may enter." The principal said calmly.

The very student of discussion opened the door, saying, "Hello, Mr. Nezu. You wanted to see me?"

The Chimera jumped down from his desk as he said, "Yes, please have a seat! I just wanted to give you a bit of reassurance. I believe you may be a bit hesitant to attend the Festival, seeing as how you lost control during the USJ."

Yukino grimaced before staring down at the ground.

"Yeah, that sounds about right." Yukino stated.

"Well, have no fear! Learning to control your quirk is exactly what we aim to teach at UA! If it helps, I can have Erasurehead on standby in case of an emergency. Not to mention that More than a few pros will be attending." Nezu reassured.

Yukino relaxed slightly before saying, "Thanks."

"It no problem!" Nezu said, before adding, "By the way, do you happen to know who Shigaraki was talking about during your battle?"

The principal didn't miss the was Yukino tensed.

"Nope! Not at all!", the teen said cheerfully.

Nezu bowed his head slightly before saying, "How unfortunate. Well, if you happen to think of anything, please let me be the first to know."

With that, Nezu watched as his student left the room. The chimera continued to smile as he stared down at his laptop. This going to be a rather interesting Sports Festival, wasn't it?
