"Ako?" He asked chuckling at me.

"You're the arcade boy" Sagot ko naman kaya napahalakhak ito

"really? Arcade boy talaga?" Nakatingin lang ako sakanya habang naniningkit ang mga mata nito sa sa pagtawa. Para siyang bata...

Napatango nalang ako, hindi alam kung ano ang sasabihin

"You didn't order this?" He asked, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment as he look at the drink.

I shook my head "yeah, avocado flavor sakin"

"Don't worry I'll go change it, wait here for a minute" He said and went to carry it back to the counter and after i few minutes he's back with a new cup, malapad ang ngiti habang inilalagay ang order ko sa mesa.

"Here"

"Thank you....so you work here huh" I started, pulling the drink closer to me.

"Yes! I didn't know we'll meet here! Such a coincidence" He perked up and pull a chair near me, sitting comfortably. Wala naman bagong customer so i didn't ask kung okay lang nga ba na makipag chika siya sakin kahit nasa trabaho siya.

"So you did remember me?" I raised a brow

Beaming he replied "Oo naman, who would forget those cool tricks you taught me while in the arcade" He giggled

I just hummed and shook my head "I'm happy i was able to help you"

"You're my superhero" He laughed and that made me stare at him

"That's a big word for a small gesture" I told him

"Small things hold big significance you know-uh...?" His brows furrowed.

"Shae" Sabat ko na ikinangiti niya ulit.
As our eyes met, a sense of camaraderie and understanding passed between us.

"Shae," he repeated, savoring the sound of my name. "It suits you"

I couldn't help but return his smile. "Thank you, and you are...?" He smirked and pointed at his shirt as he flash me a smirk

Nangunot naman ang noo ko sa ibig niyang sabihin "huh?" I asked in confusion. He immediately look down on his shirt and frown.

"Sorry, hindi ko pala suot" He laugh and went to grab something from his pocket- a name tag. He clip it up on his shirt as he look at me, holding his hand out.

"I'm Berry" He smile taking off his hat, revealing a familiar pink hair that matches his pink uniform well. I shook his hand, parang pambabae kamay niya.

"Berry? Pangalan mo talaga yan or nickname lang?" I asked and that made him chuckled. Happy pill niya yata ako, tawa ng tawa eh.

"Nickname. My real name is Berryshee"

I grimace "what? Seriously?" Tiningnan ko ito na tila ba'y natubuan ito ng isa pang mata "that's an unusual name" I pointed out

"I know. My mom's a psycho for doing that" He pouted laying back on the chair.

Hindi ko mapigilan na mapatawa "galing naman ng mama mo. Ayaw yatang mahirapan ka sa pagkuha ng birth certificate mo"

We continue to talk for a minute before he was called by his coworkers. Balik trabaho na sila so he excused himself.

"Who's that? I thought you're not in the mood for flirting" Bigla na lamang sumulpot si Rein sa gilid ko kaya naman nagulat ako ng kaunti. Nahulog tuloy yung phone ko sa sahig.

I glare at her and went to pick it up, checking the screen for cracks before putting it back on my purse.

"Wag kangang parang kaboteng sumusulpot sulpot!" I hissed at her "He's the guy na kalaro ko sa arcade" Dagdag ko pa

"Hmm?" She hummed and sat beside me
"Sayang naman, i thought nag iba na yung ihip ng hangin sa utak mo"

"So ano yung point mo?" I frown

She shrugged, sipping into my untouched drink. Kakachika ko kay berry, hindi ko tuloy nainom.

"Date kami ni Matteo, bili tayo ng new outfit" Sambit nito at niyakap yung braso ko.

Napataas naman ang kilay ko "ikaw lang naman may date ah"

She pouted "please. You know naman ang boring pag wala akong kasama. I need you, you're my other half platonically"

"Tinatamad ako" I shook my head and remove her hands "wag kangang kapit ng kapit sakin, nasusufocate ako"

"I can't blame you, my energy is overflowing"

"Syempre naman. Evil energy eh"

Tumambay lang kami don ng bigla nag message yung Ate ni Rein sa kanya, kailangan na niyang umuwi kasi ilang araw na siyang hindi umuuwi ka kanila, walang magbabantay sa nakakabatang kapatid niya na may sakit dahil kailangan pumasok sa trabaho ng ate niya.

Sadly i wasn't able to say goodbye to Berry because nakita ko siya busy doon sa likod sa kitchen nila kakagawa ng order para sa mga costumer. I just walked out of the shop feeling down.

Pumunta muna kami ng Watsons ni Rein at bumili ng gamot so Naglibot-libot muna ako doon sa makeup section.

Bigla kami nagkatinginan ng babae saleslady and i immediately turned around and look at the other way.

"For oily skin ma'am?" She asked and i shook my head and smile curtly then i immediately walked away. Bahala siya diyan, ayaw ko muna ng social interaction.

Pasimple kong hinawakan ang cheeks ko. Hindi naman siguro ako oily no? Why is she asking tho? I frown. Na concious tuloy ako ng wala sa oras. Naghanap ako ng mirror at tiningnan ang aking repleksyon. Napahinga ako ng maluwag ng makita na hindi naman oily yung mukha ko.

Naka waterproof na foundation kaya ako at nakaoil control na powder kaya naman kapit na kapit yung makeup ko.

"Hoy! Bilis na shae, Magbabysit pa ako" She pulled me out of the store.
