Lute pov(3rd person):

Today was the first day of school. The last year of high school. She couldn't wait for this stuff to be over with. Like, it's not that she hated school or something, but why the heck must it be that boring? Plus, this was a new school. A public one in fact, because she had switched schools when her twin sister Vaggie had died last year due to some legal reasons involving some scammers and briberies and all that, and they had to move to LA. Lute was not excited at all. In fact she was very tired. She threw on some random clothes and left the house early, so as to not be late. When she arrived at school it was every bit as annoying and noisy as she had expected and she was not thrilled about that. She tended to be more on the introvert side when it came to meeting new people, but she could get very talkative if you talked about the right topics with her. Namely the ones that interested her. When she finally figured out where her homeroom was, she was nearly late, and there was only one seat left, next to a random boy she didn't know. She sat down and the boy instantly turn over to her.

"Hey there girl...Are you new? I'm Adam." He said in the most obnoxious tone ever. Lute rolled her eyes and looked at him. "Yeah, okay, i do not care, I am Lute. Leave me alone." She answered coldly. She was not planning on meeting any friends this year, just finished her studies, graduate, and get the fvck out of there. "Ooooooh. Feisty.....Okay, well two can play that game, Lute." Adam said playfully. She rolled her eyes again, and completely ignored him for the rest of homeroom. Apparently, it was a must for every student here to join at least one extracurricular activity. Lute figured she'd just join the debate team as always. She loved debate. She reveled in the feeling of yelling logical reasons at the offending team at the top of her lungs and she loved watching the opposing team wrack their brains out trying to outsmart her and failing miserably. She was always good at debate. She'd joined the debate team at school every year prior, and won more than 60 competitions throughout middle school and high school, and not even counting the ones before those years. So here at Heaven High, she would probably do the same, she thought. After homeroom she went to her classes, getting lost going to almost every single one, and surprise surprise, was with Adam in each and every one, and he was seated next to her, and pestered her nonstop in EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. OF THOSE. CLASSES. God damn that Adam, she thought. She thought she could escape him at lunch but nOoooOoOo. He just had to sit next to her, just to piss her off. She'd moved tables like 6 times in 1 hour. She ended up sticking with him the entire day, and she could NOT get rid of him, no matter how hard she tried. So she just ended up accepting her fate. After class, she went to the debate team audition alone for once in about 4 hours. Then when she went in, she saw him again.

"What the hell, Adam, why are you here?" She said impatiently. "Hah! You didn't know? I'm president/captain of the debate team, baby!" And i say that you're in, no questions needed or asked! In fact, you're going to be co-president/co-captain, just because i said so! Welcome to the team, Lute!" He said ecstatically. She was surprised at his carefree attitude and impulsive decision, but she didn't care anymore. At least she got in. But she could tell, she would be sticking with this Adam guy, way more than she would like to.

Adam pov:

I have no idea what the hell i just did but i do NOT regret it. I mean, we have the exact same classes, plus we both love debate a lot, from what i can tell, so why not just stick with her? Lute just gives off that feeling that makes me wanna be friends with her. And also, the teacher told me that she was a good pick for the team, apparently she's won like 60 something competitions in middle school and high school alone, so she had to be on the team. So i just figured that she'd be my co-captain. None of these stupid girls in the team were good enough anyway. I don't even know how they got in. In all the competitions, they only say like 2 sentences each, max, then i do the rest of the talking. They are just simps, you can literally tell by the way they all look at me. But im not interested so i just ignore them. I would say this year started off pretty well, don't you think?
