They looked at me with hopeful eyes, i didn't know what to say to them.
They're expecting me to say something, but i can't say anything.
"Oh! uhm.. i've been struggling a lot with.. uhm... schoolwork?" That did not seem believable.
I knew they didn't believe me, they still had the same expression since the beginning. I finally hear my grandma talk.
"I'm serious dear, are you sure it's just schoolwork? it seems like it's something bigger than you make it seem." I hear her breath getting heavier and heavier, she was getting impatient.
Speaking of impatient, i could tell my mom was not happy with my activities lately. I'm pushing her a lot on the edge.
"Tooru. Just tell us." They were both impatient.
I sighed, "What is there to say? i've already told my reasons and if you don't believe me then that is not my problem anymore." I had to say it, even if it wasn't true.
I want to get out of this situation. It's too tough for me to handle.

His grandmother stood up, seeing his room one last time.
Papers scattered and clothes on one side of the floor, comics everywhere and his bed being messy.
His mom and grandmother looked at each other and finally left.
A big sigh was heard inside the room, a sigh of relief.
Oikawa sat down on his bed and pulled up his phone, receiving a notification.
Iwa !!
Iwa !!: hey.
Iwa !!: my girlfriend wants you to come with a
us with the whole team. be here at 2:30, its a bowling thing.-
His eyes light up for a second, but it made him realize.
Will they invite him if his girlfriend never invited to begin with?
Oikawa felt like it had been a while since the last hangout he's been in, maybe this is a new stage. Finally leaving the old ones behind.
Maybe he can.. make some kind of bond.
-
Was the bowling alley this loud? was it ever filled with so many lights and people. Almost like some kind of club.
Oikawa looked around, all of them looked like they were having fun. He didn't wanna ruin it like he always did with his past experiences.
He felt like, he would put the same attitude he did during practices and volleyball games.
Too competitive to the point you aren't having fun anymore, too hard-headed, too much about every little thing.
Oikawa didn't want to be like that, especially in a hangout where it's meant to be fun. He didn't want to be some kind of competitive loser.
-
Looking at everyone was like some kind of fresh breath of air. Everyone was laughing and smiling with such big ones.
Iwazumi and his girlfriend was flirting with each other. Smiling, laughing, they couldn't stop holding each other.
It was making the others sick jokingly. Oikawa was sick, not as a joke.
-
"C'mon Oikawa! have some fun with us!" Oikawa looked up at them and noticed everyone was looking, even Iwazumi.
But he was looking at him at such a gaze. It made him wish that.. he wished he would look at him like how he would look at his girlfriend.
How selfish is that?
