Countless rings were heard across his room, none of them were picked up and responded.

Oikawa was in despair. Skipping meals, barely asleep and talking to absolutely nobody. As result, he skipped tons of classes too.

His family was dead worried for him, they didn't know what happened at all!

Was he bullied? Did he fight? Did someone finally pointed out his high amount of ego he always had? no one knows!

-

Knock, knock, knock!

3 knocks and no responses were made.

He locked his door and just didn't do anything, what was his state? why is he doing this.

"Tooru, please.. just.."

Silence.

"Open the goddamn door.."

Don't take the God's name in vein, they say.

Flashbacks of constant blabber from his mom because of a simple phrase like "Oh My God" or anything mentioned with his name.

Oikawa groaned and use all his might to push and finally use his legs, opening the door.

He was shocked. The first thing he ever received was a hug from his mother.

The mom that always set her beliefs down the table, the mother that chose to visit the house of God every now and then, ending up with her forgetting to take care of her kids.

The mother who relied on her grandma to take care of them, making all of them discover the meaning of "favouritism".

But Oikawa didn't care about any of that.

All that mattered was he was hugging someone, after a good while!

And all he could do was cry and sob, on his mother's shoulders.

-

Water set aside, beside his bed.

Was he ready to talk?

His mother cleared her throat and held his hand, "Your friend Hajime called."

The silence was so unbearable.

"You guys had a big argument. He never told me the reason why, all he said was to talk to you because you badly need someone right now." His mother put her hands on his shoulder, like the same side hug he did with Iwazumi.

But Oikawa didn't care about any of that.

It felt more to him, meant more to him than it ever would.

Oikawa opened his mouth, but no words every came out. When was the last time he talked?

Or did he yell out all his abilities to communicate because of that stupid fight, he would just like to thank God he didn't punch his best friend.

"I'm.. so sorry."

The first time he finally talked to his family, his voice croaked and half dead.

"Don't say sorry to me. Say sorry to Hajime if he ever did something to offend you, i trust you with resolving your relationship with him."

"Hajime is a good kid."

If only she knew. If only she knew how Iwazumi treated him, how all his friends treated him.

"I know he is."

"I don't know.. how to face anyone right now Mom, i just... wanna be on my own for a while."

His mother smiled at him weakly, then kissing his forehead sweetly. She then stood up and stopped by the door.

"Please remember that i love you, tooru."

"You're always gonna be my little kid, no matter what."

Oikawa just looked at her.

He then heard the door close, it was a cue to lay down on his bed again.
