Kyle washes the dishes and Luke dries them. "This one still has bubbles on," complains Luke.
"Which one?" Kyle turns back to Luke from the kitchen sink.
Luke walks toward Kyle from the dish stand where he keeps the rest of the dried dishes and points the plate to him. "Here."
"It's clean. What do you mean?" Kyle whines after taking a look at the plate he is holding.
"You're so cute." A soft curve appears on Luke's face.
"You're so mean!" Kyle says as he splashes water on Luke's face.
"Hey!" Luke places the dish on the counter and splashes water on Kyle. "Now we're even."
They laugh and continue to play Splash Wars until the latter rests. "You need to fix your car!" Kyle reminded.
"Can I spend more time with you?" Luke pouts.
"Get your cute face out from me. You need to talk to Isabelle."
Luke sighs. He didn't want to have the talk with Isabelle.
"I know, Luke. But she cares about you. The least you can do is give her a heads-up. 'Hey, I accidentally kissed my best friend. I hope you're not mad.'"
"That sounds so terrible."
"The truth hurts but it's better than the lies. Do you want your relationship with her to be built with lies?"
Luke stays silent.
"Should I go with you?" Kyle gently lifts Luke's chin to level his eyes with him.
"I mean um if you insist" Luke struggled with his words. Kyle smiles.
"Change into something reliable first."
"Don't you have to change too?" Luke asks with love in his eyes.
"Don't make me- Yes. I will change. With you."
